   Mumbai Masala Papamoa has quickly become one of my all-time favourite local spots. Every meal here is a flavour explosion — rich, authentic, and perfectly balanced. You can tell the chefs take real pride in their craft; every curry is layered with depth, and the naan is soft, warm, and cooked to perfection. The service is just as impressive — friendly, genuine, and attentive without being overbearing. Whether you’re dining in or grabbing takeaway, they make you feel genuinely valued. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, the portions are generous, and the consistency is remarkable — every visit is a 10/10 experience. If you love Indian cuisine (or even if you think you don’t yet), this place will convert you. Easily the best Indian food in the Bay, and honestly, one of the best meals you’ll find anywhere. Highly recommend the butter chicken, lamb rogan josh, and garlic naan — but you really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu!

   We come here almost every week (the only place we enjoy so much we would!) and every time the food is incredible, the staff are personable and remember our order, accommodate our dietary changes and remember them without us asking. The food is always flavourful, great portion sizes. One of our favourite places to eat in town, consistently great enough for us to look forward to visiting every time. Thanks so much guys!

   Staff here were amazing, asked for extra sides (not sire what they're called) and were given quite a few. Also when we accidently pulled the table cloth off which resulted in our glass of water flying away and breaking all over the floor, they were still 100% professional about it. Absolutely fantastic service. The food was quite nice and reasonably priced, as well as the beers. Will definitely recommend this place to others and head there again next time I'm in Tauranga!

   The food here is absolutely divine. All of our meals were great. Poppadums arrived first, then our drinks, and then our meals with our naan bread. Our meals were a little slow coming out but were very yummy. Got the lunch special, which is such good value. Would really recommend this place for great Indian food.

   The moment we entered the building I could already tell that we were going to have a great time. About a minute after we sat down the waiter came to take our order he was extremely polite and gave us a lot of help. The food was amazing and by the time we were leaving we had smiles on our faces this is the most fond I have ever been of a restraunt and hope we will be able to come again.
