The woman at the reception desk was rude and unwelcoming making it a unpleasant stay at this holiday park. Overall it is a nice park but the service is not good enough! We stay here in a caravan and they don’t treat their campers well and some of them are unreasonable. I think they could be a lot nicer and not as rude especially towards the young ones. To add all the the prices are also very high! (we pay 10,000 per year). The last owners were much more considering.

Staff are super lovely and really helpful. Dynamic pricing is a bit of a joke to be honest but to be expected from a huge conglomerate with a stranglehold on campsites in the area. First site we had was lovely and quiet but we moved to an unpowered site which was directly next to the road, small pitch, pretty noisy. Pool was nice, but the woman marching round demanding to see bracelets (3 times in 5 minutes ) probably needs to take a bit of a chill pill. Especially given 80% of the people in the water didn’t have them on - quite a flawed system as well when you can just walk in to reception and ask for them without giving proof of staying there! Also something about paying 80 dollars for a campsite and having timed showers really rubbed me up the wrong way. When you’re paying nearly 300 dollars for a few days I feel like you could stretch to having unlimited showers. There are so many facilities it’s definitely not to “make sure other guests aren’t affected” it’s just being cheap. Other than that all good!

Fantastic location and things to do! Heated pool, park, trampoline, giant chess board and a big screen and bean bags. Our room was great! Comfy bed, kitchenette had everything we needed and the fridge freezer was a nice size for the 3 nights stay. Awesome view of the Moana from our sea side room. From what I can see the other rooms look just as good. We stayed for the Mana Kuratahi kapa haka 2025. Our kids also loved it. Would definitely return and recommend to whanau and friends.

I’m really disappointed with my experience here. When I first booked, I emailed the accommodation to ask about adding an extra adult and was told it would only cost $20 per person per night (so $40 total). I paid that straight away and even have the emails as proof. But when we arrived, the lady at reception said the room was only for 8 people — even though there was plenty of space — and made us book a whole new cabin for $280 on top of what we had already paid just for one extra person after me clarifying from the start. Later that night, we were using the pool which clearly said closes at 10pm on the website. The same staff member started yelling at us from across the pool area to get out, even though we couldn’t hear her properly at first. When she came closer, I politely asked if the pool didn’t close at 10 and she snapped back “no, 9.” I said okay and apologized, but when I then spoke to my brother asking for a towel, she rudely said “what?” again, thinking I was talking to her. Totally unnecessary attitude. To top it off, the cutlery and plates in the accommodation were dirty, which was disappointing considering how much we ended up paying. Overall, very poor customer service and communication. I didn’t end up sleeping or using the cabin at all because my little sister ended up staying with us instead. My first family trip away with my family and paid a lot of money would’ve enjoyed this a lot more if the customer service and communication was better.

Amazing location and incredible rooms. Beautifully made up and having a spa bath was a real treat. Staff super friendly and nothing was an issue. Look forward to coming again!

I AM NEVER STAYING HERE AGAIN !!! Its was to late when I arrived to look for somewhere else. $50 a night for 1 person on a unpowered site next to a busy road. Wifi is so slow its unusable, the kitchen and toilet facilities are very dated and there is not even any dish washing liquid. Just absolutely gutted with Australian owned camp ground. Most kiwi owned camp grounds are less then half the cost. DO NOT support this over priced camp ground.

We stayed in our Motorhome but could see all they have, great kitchen and dinning area, clean toilets and showers. Carts for kids and a bouncy cushion. Right on beach front and shops near by. Also a restaurant by camp, great place and friendly staff.

This was my first time staying at Tasman holiday park and I definitely wasn’t left disappointed. Clean showers and bathroom, nice kitchen facilities (There were two kitchen areas) and friendly staff. They have a jumping pillow, beach volleyball and a mini tennis court. You can get the rackets and balls free of charge at reception which was excellent. The park is in a great location right next to the beach and about 15 min walk to countdown and Pak n Save. Only downside was they didn’t have a tv/movie room setup, which could of been handy to have if you wanted to chill out somewhere.

Absolutely Spotless bathrooms and sites, playground and all facilities. cleaners were at them all day ! Wonderful Staff accommodating and friendly. I booked for 3 nights and had a medical emergency on the morning of the 3rd day and had to leave by ambulance. When my wife handed back the keys a day earlier than expected she was immediately given a refund for the last day without question. We didn't expect one nor ask for one however the lovely lady in reception insisted a refund. What a wonderful place, we will be returning again soon, we have 2 kids under 3 a dog and a cat and they all thoroughly enjoyed it. Thank you so much for the experience learning the routes in our new campervan.
