“The staff was very friendly and warm. She is knowledgeable about the vicinity (beyond te aroha) too which is a bonus. She gave us a few maps and we are good to go!”
“I needed a small repair done on my bike and needed it done that afternoon. The mechanic fitted me in and pointed out there were a few other things need to be done to do what I wanted. He did the lot and gave the bike a mini tune all in an hour while I had a coffee in the cafe. Quick, friendly and reasonobly priced. Thanks heaps”
“An excellent trip. We had a great experience with a large pod of dolphins for about an hour. Staff were helpful a d friendly. Highly recommend.”
“The kanu glow worm tour at night was amazing! Our tour guides Derek and Joe made it so enjoyable. They were fun to talk to and informative. Joe was very knowledgeable and shared with us so many scientific facts and the Māori story on glowworms. Highly recommend a must do! Also the McLaren falls park is very underrated and a definite good stopover for a night to camp”
“We haven’t used a travel agent in years, but decided to take the stress out of organising our Aussie holiday, and we’re so glad we did! Steve and Kylie at Helloworld were absolutely amazing. They really listened to what we wanted, offered fantastic options that suited our budget, and explained everything clearly and concisely. Nothing was ever too much trouble. They’ve gone above and beyond our expectations, and we’re so grateful for their support. Looking forward to planning more family adventures with them in the future!”

“A truly wonderful experience for our family and especially for my Dad celebrating his 90th Birthday and the fact that 60 years ago he was a General Farm Hand on Summerlee Station which covered 5000 acres in and around the area of the Cape Kidnappers … Marcus our guide was so very knowledgeable and very entertaining and Sophie back at base was super helpful too … all in all a very ‘proud to be a Kiwi’ moment for us as well as being very proud of our home Village of Te Awanga :-)”
“My wife and I came to Napier for a ‘Wine holiday’ to visit the vineyards in the local area. We chose 415 because of its high reviews on google and trip advisor… It was awesome, the rooms have been beautifully renovated and very warm when it was only 1 degree outside. The location was great, close to restaurants and easy to find on the main beach road. Our hosts Tom & Esther were great company helping us find the vineyards we wanted to visit and guide us away from some we didn’t know were closed. Cooked a great breakfast too!”
“As soon as I arrived, she treated me very warmly and was very willing to help me with what I was looking for. She took all her time twice I went. I brought a card so I could continue buying my tickets with Aleisha”
“Pacific ocean views, seal lions lounging, volcanic rock formations brought to you by Monarch cruises and their knowledgeable staff, especially Will.”
“A great evening seeing the penguins come ashore, socialise and settle into their nests in their natural environment. Complimented by the detailed knowledge and enthusiasm of the guides. We also very much enjoyed the nature drive from Dunedin stopping at a number of locations to see the spectacular views and many birds along the shoreline.”
“Great service and a pretty good price overall. Lovely people which makes the processes much nicer.”
“We had such a great day on this from our ship. Yosh was so interesting on local bird life etc. We had a good visit to the albatross centre. Saw chicks and also albatross. Nice picnic lunch on the hoof, and off to seals and penguins. We may also have been lucky as we also saw at least 5 albatrosses out on the sea. Spectacular scenery, superb guide, a bit lucky with the weather. Nice quick spin round Dunedin, including the station and steepest road in the world. Probably my wife’s best day of our holiday, definitely the best of our cruise. Many many thanks.”
“Don’t miss the predator proof park! Amazing concept!!Ecological avant garde! Opens 9:30 or 10:00 am to 4:30 PM. Amazing vegetation, birds and superb cafeteria. Look for Mr T family ( Takahe)”
“Water taxi from ship to pick up at base of the castle. Lots of time to explore.”
“We chose this agency for our one-month self-drive tour of New Zealand, North Island and South Island. The accommodation was pleasant, the scenery breathtaking, and the tour advice was top-notch. We recommend Antipodes and will travel with them again with confidence, perhaps to Australia.”
“We took the one hour wildlife cruise from Wellers Rock. The guide was very knowledgeable about the birds and other wildlife, their lifecycle, nesting and lots of other information. We saw albatross, little penguins and a couple of seals. They have jackets and binoculars that you can use. Great cruise, really enjoyed it.”
“We had a wonderful time at this free farm, which offers a large and open space perfect for families. The weather was beautiful when we visited around noon, and our two kids couldn’t have been happier. They enjoyed running around and exploring the farm, and seeing the newborn lambs was a special treat—they were absolutely adorable! The farm is well-maintained and provides a relaxing, fun atmosphere for both kids and adults. It’s a fantastic spot for a family outing, especially on a sunny day!”
“Overall, Kingwood Reserve provides a peaceful and scenic escape from the city, allowing visitors to connect with nature and explore Auckland's natural beauty.”
“It is a botanical jungle within the city which has fauna & flora of most plants. Each one of them has been labelled & grouped in different category, making it a haven for botany students & easy to differentiate for the layman. Must visit while in Auckland.”
“Love going to the zoo was good to see Auckland zoo again”
“This is a family friendly farm. We used to take kids here for the family day. It’s also the start for Watercare coastal walkway. There is a barn here plus two car parks, a shelter, toilets, BBQ spots and camping grounds. There are farm animals such as sheep, lamb and horses.”
“It was a nice experience at the Glenbrook Vintage Railway. It was good that we arrived early, around 5:30 pm, because after that there were long queues for tickets, food stalls, and even Santa. Be really prepared for long queues, even the toilets had lines. There were lots of people lining up for food, especially the beef sausage wiener. We brought our own food but still ended up buying some because there were so many food options to choose from. The train and station were beautifully decorated with Christmas lights, both inside and outside the train, which really added to the festive atmosphere. There was also a short festive balloons display. Riding the vintage steam train and smelling the smoke and steam made the experience feel authentic and memorable.”
“Great playground for small and older kids alike. There are several challenging (but safe) features for my 12 year old, and giant slides (think 30-40 meters high) for my 8 year old. Great way to burn off energy. Be aware that the picnic tables have splinters!”
“Over looking the Huia bay, this picturesque lookout offers a breathtaking sight of the backwaters in the Waitakere region. A short yet lovely escape place from the city. Ideal to visit in the evenings with friends and family , right before sunset. Visiting this place is totally free of cost with ample parking space available. For groups visiting with toddlers and children below age of 10, it’s better to be careful and monitor while walking towards the viewing deck thought the railings are quite high.”
“Karen is amazing to deal with, she's very quick to answer any questions and will help you plan out all of your trip details. Highly recommend!”
“Russian bakery!! Honey cake is blowing my mind…. Light and not as sweet as I thought… Pistachio cake is the one you have to try!! It’s basically dacquoise with crunchy pistachios instead of almond, cream filling.… I have tried chicken liver pie, it also delicious. Nice combination with liver and veg, well seasoned. In general everything is above my expectations. I will definitely come back soon for other choices of pie!!”
“Awesome place to be and really nice walking track with great views”
