   Feedback on Overcharging by Gill Travels I booked a ticket through Gill Travels on 6th October and was charged a $250 margin. As a sub-agent, I had clearly discussed with their manager, Lipin, that all my bookings would be at nett cost since I intended to give them regular business. Despite this, Jaspreet from their team assured me that my ticket was on nett cost, so I paid $1,590. However, upon checking the fare on the Malaysian Airlines website using my reference number, I found the actual price was $1,338. When I raised this issue with Gill Travels, their staff disconnected the call and later ignored my WhatsApp messages. A $252 margin on a single ticket is completely unacceptable. Most of their team, including Lipin, Jaspreet, Kiran, and Tanvi, operate from India, while their so-called Auckland office has no real local support. I plan to escalate this issue to New Zealand authorities, as such practices harm local employment and mislead customers. I strongly advise others to double-check fares before booking with Gill Travels and not rely blindly on their assurances. I will be attaching my chat and payment proof for transparency. In reply to the owner's message: It’s shame that you’re asking me for the booking ID and fare proof. Why don’t you speak with the individuals I mentioned in my previous message instead? And why should I be the one emailing you again? Your team has committed fraud, which I clearly exposed and supported with evidence in my feedback. Zoom in on the screenshot and review it properly, your own agent admitted that he booked on $1440 when he caught, which is false. Even if I consider that amount, charging a $150 margin on a single booking is completely unacceptable. Also, ask your manager who called me about a $75 refund , why was that even offered? I should be paid back $200 asI have not calculated the commission that you gonna get from Malaysian even, this calculation is based on a gross amount. Your company has acted dishonestly, and I will be taking further action by escalating this matter to the New Zealand authorities soon.
