   We did the Hobbiton and Waitomo glowworm cave tour. It was an absolute masterclass on how to run a tour by our guide, Liam. He is obviously extremely passionate about what he does, and he has a real knack for bringing people together, something which really made our experience unforgettable, alongside all the fantastic things we saw!

   I booked this trip at the last minute, feeling both excited and a little anxious. When I arrived at Auckland from Sydney as a solo traveler, I was greeted by my wonderful tourist guide, Aaron, who arrived right on time at 6:20 AM. There were a total of 10 people in our group, and I felt so fortunate that everyone got along so well; and even made some new friends all g the way. It made the experience even more enjoyable. The drive to Hobbiton took about two hours, and we had a lovely short stop for coffee and a restroom break along the way. During the journey, Aaron shared fascinating details about Auckland and the sights we would be visiting, which made the time fly by. It was heartwarming to see how punctual we were at every stop; it really added to the overall experience. Visiting Hobbiton is an absolute must when you're in New Zealand, even if you haven't seen the Lord of the Rings or Hobbit movies. The charm of the place is undeniable, and the beautiful scenery truly captivates the heart. I also found the gift shops along the way to be reasonably priced, offering lovely mementos. We had lunch between two sites and was very pleasantly tasty. Overall, it was a beautiful day filled with joy and new friendships

   Aukland scenic tours is an amazing company if you are looking to get a ride to unique and memorable places around Auckland. I signed up for the full day tour to hobbiton and waitomo caves and it was so worth it. Firstly, I’d like to thank our insightful and very kind driver, Diane, who drove us to our destinations giving us tidbits of information of things we past on the road. She is a very safe driver and I can’t thank her enough for all the wisdom of the land. Hobbiton and waitomo caves were amazing, but since this is a review for the service I won’t go into them. If you want a stress free, comfortable ride to beautiful locations around Auckland, then book with Auckland Scenic Tours!

   We had an amazing, stress-free experience! Our tour guide, Timothy, was not only fun but also incredibly knowledgeable, he shared fascinating insights throughout the drive, making sure there was never a dull moment. The Hobbiton Tour was fantastic! We soaked in the beautiful scenery and peaceful surroundings, no need to be a Lord of the Rings fan to enjoy it. The glow worm cave was a true eye-opener as well. It was both relaxing and educational, we learned about the glow worms’ life cycle and the stunning limestone formations, and the underground boat ride through the cave was a highlight. Tim's planning was spot-on. Everything ran smoothly, with no time wasted and no sense of being rushed. I highly recommend booking these tours, it takes the stress out of travel, and having a local guide adds so much depth with their knowledge of the area's history and culture. Absolutely worth every penny!

   Must go in Auckland! I needed to change the date cause the weather was not good, and Nicolle did very attended and Michael are the best and makes everything turns special! He is a great photographer too! Hobbiton is unforgettable! Highly recommend this tour!

   Wonderful half day city tour of Auckland with Mike. What a great tour we saw so much of the city and our guide was just fantastic. Safety was his first priority at all of our stops and the view of the city were amazing. We learned a great deal about the history of the city. If you only have a limited amount time in Auckland I highly recommend Auckland Scenic Tours and ask for Mike. Oh and he has a wonderful sense of humor!
