“If I could give more than 5 stars I would! A few years ago I was pregnant,tired and incredibly hungry and all the restaurants were actually closing their doors, including vino. My poor husband ran up just as you were closing the doors and asked if you had anything spare he could buy for me quickly. Without hesitation you actually turned your ovens back on,chatted to my husband about life,and made me a double portion of pasta FREE of charge and said it was a gift for us and our first baby. I genuinely cried at how generous you were to a total stranger. Don’t know if you remember this at all,but it’s always stuck with us! Highly recommend to anyone and everyone.”

“I visited this store on Friday 29 October, first time visiting any XVAPE store. The two guys working were friendly and upbeat and helped me to choose a flavour as they don’t stock my usual brands. To be honest the vape juice is okay but wouldn’t rush back to buy again. However I would be interested in shopping with XVAPE again as the service was nice and looks like a good shop setup”

“Went here for my very first haircut at Wellington and had such a good experience. I got there 10 minutes early and my haircut started right on time, which was awesome. I got the student price too (just had to show my ID), which was a nice bonus. Jane, who I think is a junior stylist, did my cut and she was great. I showed her some pictures and she did exactly what I asked for. When I said I wanted it a bit shorter, she adjusted it without any fuss. She really listened and did a great job. Walked out feeling super happy with my haircut. Definitely recommend!”

“Great true gentleman barber. Takes time and care in the cut. Plus you won’t get charged upwards of $100 like in these other “modern” barbers that are springing up everywhere. Value for money with traditional charm. If you have time, get a shave. It’s an experience, relaxation and meditation in itself”

A genuine, effortlessly friendly and welcoming vibe and I see them treat ALL their customers this way. They’ve taken the time to build relationships with their customers where they can have conversations about what they’ve been up to - it’s awesome! I believe interactions like this are the true definition of what community is and it’s such a rarity these days so we must call it out! celebrate it! “There are 2 dairys (convienamce store) that sell food items in Hataitai. Milk, eggs tea, bags ... all your common things. This is the bigger of the 2. Also they sell beer and wine. A Lotto counter is there as well. Staff are friendly. Some things are expensive like meat, but if you are in need of something quick and don't want to go to Kilbirnie supermarkets this is convenient.”
