   Lloyd is a gem. What he doesn't know about watches isn't worth knowing. I took my 50 plus year old Omega to him last week - it had been running fast for some time. I had taken it in to two repair services in the CBD but they didn't fix it. He tested it and said "it's magnetized", probably by being kept too close to my phone. He promptly demagnetized it and it's now keeping perfect time. I was so pleased I bought a very nice Citizen "Eco-drive", and he gave me a very good deal on it.

   I have had a very upsetting experience here. He is very rude and lacks empathy. My father has recently passed away and I was wanting some of his jewellery resized and repaired. Lloyd had an unpleasant manner and basically said he was very busy but he’ll get it done. He has zero customer service skills and made me feel I was annoying him. He then ignored me and started talking to another customer who came into the shop. I left and went to the Gold Exchange instead. So glad I did - lovely people who have fantastic customer service and go the extra mile. They care and it shows.
