“This evening, a staff member went above and beyond for our family! I believe her name was Kaye, working in the click and collect department this evening. After my husband came home with our order, we realised we were missing a few things. I called up to explain and Kaye was so apologetic and helpful! So much so that she personally delivered our missing items to our home after her shift finished! Just incredible!”

“Redwood Aquatics is an amazing shop for reptile and fish supplies! Debbie is always friendly, quick to respond to my emails, and incredibly helpful. The store is fun to visit and it’s great to have such a reptile-friendly place in Christchurch - which can be hard to find. Highly recommend!!!”

“A very unique café with an internal garden that creates a small indoor sanctuary. There’s also a designer clothing store right next to it, adding to the charm. You’ll need to book in advance if you want a good spot, as it can get quite busy on weekends. I’ll try to come early next time to fully enjoy the atmosphere. The coffee was decent.”

“We went out to a recommended restaurant for dinner, and the experience was wonderful. The waitress was exceptionally warm, gentle, and welcoming. The dishes take some time to be served since everything is prepared fresh, but it is absolutely worth the wait. For starters, we ordered: – Smoked Burrata with strawberries – beautifully presented and incredibly tasty. – Wild Mushroom Gyoza, served with sesame sauce, chili oil, and an Asian-style salad. An excellent dish, with perfectly steamed dumplings. For the main courses, which are the restaurant’s signature dishes: 1. Fish of the day – salmon, served tender, delicate, and absolutely delicious. 2. Braised Beef Cheek – slow-cooked with miso and sweet potato purée. The dishes were outstanding, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. There is both visual elegance and exceptional taste in every plate. Of course, we couldn’t leave without dessert. We ordered the pudding, which is their signature dessert, and it was excellent as well. We enjoyed the meal so much that we will definitely return to enjoy this wonderful food again, clearly prepared with great care and passion by the chef.”

“Great service from the manager today. 1st person I asked about something just direct me to the jackets and said can pack them all up small!!!!! Then the manager came along and basically gave advice, suggestions, looked for jackets out the back. Excellent.”

“I love this home store. My son has autism and can't handle loud noises and they even have noise cancelling hearing protectors that look funky and wonderful and don't make him look out of place. They are not the standard orange but a fluro green. They have everything here and a very knowledgable staff who will help and have advice on everything in store. And there is an awesome little play area.”

“Another cost effective place to shop, great prices for the family on their packaged frozen goods from Ice cream to chargrilled chicken portions, fish and savouries, pastries and cheese slices, that's only a few of so many items they stock. With their great staff and products you'll be heading back for more the next week they are cheaper than the Supermarkets for the chicken and fish items especially, so give them a try if you want to save money. No I don't work for them either I just appreciate their deals and lovely staff and would like to let those people and families trying to survive out there that there are alternatives to the Supermarkets. Give them a try you won't regret it.”

“Can be some good deals to be had here. Reasonable range of produce and some off road parking which can quickly get taken up. Just funny when staff are wearing Chin Masks. If they are going to wear masks, then wear them properly or not at all.”

“Came up from Dunedin, had a light bulb that needed changed - had a spare 1 with us and the guys here Changed it for no charge! Was a H.I.D bulb so a bit more complex than a standard was willing to pay but they done free of charge. Great customer service.”

“An amazing tea experience today. As a tourist who loves tea I would highly recommend this place. They have tea tasting 3 teas for $15. They also have a variety of teas, mostly oolong (their specialty) and black tea blends. There are also very nice tea pots and cups. The two ladies who helped us today were knowledgeable, welcoming and helpful. They explained how tea picking occurs as well as what makes each tea special. I would love to see a tea picking experience, that would be a great tourism boost for the place and could be done in a controlled way to ensure no contamination of the soil. Otherwise, I loved it today!”

“I rate this mitre 10. Everytime I've been here I've left with what I need and some. Today I went in for some pots totaling $400 but they were discounted down to only $80. And the last time I went I was just getting some charcoal and they had $1000 umbrellas down to $250 because the box was damaged. The staff are always super helpful and friendly. And the bbq section is always well stocked.”

They have a very large range of services for your vehicles .the staff are fantastic very friendly helpful and there quality of work is second to none. “I love going to the farm market on Sundays when I'm free. I always find new things like cheeses, salami, pastries, relish that are worth trying. There are also several fresh vegetable options at a good price. It's also a good place for coffee in the morning. I always leave with a bag full of healthy ingredients to consume during the week. An important tip is to bring cash. If you forget, you can exchange it there, paying a fee. Some sellers accept cards. There is also live music, which makes the atmosphere more pleasant. The market is inside a covered area and there is plenty of grass outside if you want to bring your pet. You can also find organic vegetables, options gluten free, plants, flowers, cheese, eggs...”
