We went out to a recommended restaurant for dinner, and the experience was wonderful. The waitress was exceptionally warm, gentle, and welcoming. The dishes take some time to be served since everything is prepared fresh, but it is absolutely worth the wait. For starters, we ordered: – Smoked Burrata with strawberries – beautifully presented and incredibly tasty. – Wild Mushroom Gyoza, served with sesame sauce, chili oil, and an Asian-style salad. An excellent dish, with perfectly steamed dumplings. For the main courses, which are the restaurant’s signature dishes: 1. Fish of the day – salmon, served tender, delicate, and absolutely delicious. 2. Braised Beef Cheek – slow-cooked with miso and sweet potato purΓ©e. The dishes were outstanding, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. There is both visual elegance and exceptional taste in every plate. Of course, we couldn’t leave without dessert. We ordered the pudding, which is their signature dessert, and it was excellent as well. We enjoyed the meal so much that we will definitely return to enjoy this wonderful food again, clearly prepared with great care and passion by the chef.

We had a wonderful meal at Town Tonic to cap off our honeymoon. We had a lot of amazing meals during our trip, but this was the best. They opened just for us on that Monday, and we had a private dining experience. The food and service were top tier. The plating and presentation were excellent. Not only did the food look great, but it also tasted amazing. We got the beef cheek (must get) and the lamb. The beef check was incredibly tender, and we loved how it was complimented by a variety of crunchy seeds and crispy fried carrots on top for texture. The lamb was cooked perfectly. I would highly recommend visiting for a fine dining experience that doesn't break the bank!

With chefs who’ve worked in a myriad of hotel kitchens the quality of the food from Town Tonic is balanced and fun in its flavours and presentation. The attention, friendliness and care offered by the staff makes this a great place to eat in Addington whether breakfast, lunch or dinner. PS great coffee too

Really enjoyed this restaurant. The food was amazing and the service was great too. The chef puts a lot of effort into their presentation and the taste. A truly talented chef. I got the fish of the day and was pleasantly surprised by how perfectly cooked it was and sides really complimented the fish. The sauce was absolutely amazing too. A flavour explosion! Highly recommend Town Tonic for lunch or dinner! Thanks.

It used to be one of the best vegan spots in town 5 years ago, but not anymore. Don’t get me wrong it’s still fancy place just not for vegan, just disappointing that you pay $$$ and leave hungry. We went for a set menu Valentines dinner. There was a choice of vegan beetroot tartare for starter and vegan lasagna as main, the taste was plain and nothing special , but portions bede so ridiculously tiny that we left hungry. For exactly the same price the non vegan option that people next to us were eating were massive which doesn’t sounds fair. Both chefs and staff seemed to struggle with amount of customers coming at the same time and there were many people waiting forever for their food. I think it’s time for owners to understand that nicely presented food is only part of the experience and you need to justify the very expensive price with right portions size and better service. It’s a NO from me !

We had dinner on a Friday evening. We had a booking, which was just as well, as it was quite busy on arrival. We were quickly seated. We did the 3 course trust the chef option for $75 each. We ended up with the crispy truffle chicken, lamb loin and sticky date pudding. All of the courses were delicious and cooked well. Service was excellent, the food came reasonably quickly. All in all hard to find any fault. Recommended.
