“Will recommend this restaurant, We had a dine in Birthday dinner for 10 people. Very yummy food, clean and spacious environment. Good service by staff and management. Own wine was allowed at no extra charge which was a bonus. Thank you Anokha”
“Had lunch here, teriyaki chicken set meal. Very good taste, healthy and delicious food, you can tell it is carefully cooked. The shop is a bit old, but it is still relatively clean and comfortable. Recommended. Will come again. Just a little bit hot.”
“The 2-pack Sadya was outstanding! Every dish was bursting with authentic flavor and beautifully prepared, just like a true Onam feast. Absolutely satisfying and worth every bite — a must-try for anyone who loves South Indian cuisine. 5 stars without a doubt!”
“Absolutely loved the Spider-Man cake we ordered for our son’s birthday! It turned out even better than we expected—beautifully designed and full of detail. Our little one was over the moon, it truly made his day! We were referred by a friend and so glad we went with this bakery. The taste was amazing too—moist, fresh, and not overly sweet. Great quality at a very reasonable price. Highly recommend giving them a try!”
“Excellent Peking duck and amazing hot food dishes. The chef comes out to carve the duck at the table as part of a dinner and show. If you are in Panmure make sure to stop by and try it out!”
“Best chilli oil dumplings in town! Their salt and pepper tofu and the potato tower are also amazing. Lots of decent vegetarian options.”
“Been many times before but first time for the newly introduced buffet chicken menu. It's a great idea and it was very yummy. A number of side dishes are included in the all you can eat menu as well.”
“I ordered Mapo Tofu today and some morning tea dishes like barbecued pork and shrimp dumplings. The staff was friendly and the morning tea was delicious. I would give this place five stars. Great experience.”
“Very good service, amazing food and cheap for all family, and couples, best soup and bread ever highly reccomend”

“Nice restaurant with yummy food. Very close to the airport. Staffs are friendly and helpful.”
“Mango chicken is great. At extra hot wasn't as hot as I expected, but hot enough and very nice. Butter naan and garlic naan are both amazing - good and crispy =)”
“The best yum cha in Christchurch. We ordered so many dishes and it was all good. Definitely have the charcoal buns and red cheong fun wrapped around fried fritters with prawn in the middle. Absolutely divine. Service is great too.”
Mona Vale Restaurant favours a classic fish‑and‑chips mix with clear flavours. Plates offer plenty without weighing things down. Portions suit sharing without tipping heavy. Front‑of‑house runs with calm, helpful energy.
“Staff are super friendly and the food is really amazing. Ive had lunch here a few times and would definitely recommend it for something super tastey and quick! This is a brilliant place for some lunch, a mid afternoon snack, or a drink and some people watching.”
“I finally managed to go to this restaurant that was on my list and was recommended by a friend. I don't regret it. I went to get a takeaway and the option I chose was "Combination fried noodles" which was simply divine. I'll be back soon to try other dishes. I ordered through the website which works quite well and scheduled a pick-up time. The portion was generous and was enough for two meals. The restaurant also has a delivery service, but only to neighboring locations.”
“A wonderful place with a superb, culturally rich atmosphere — it truly felt like stepping into a slice of history from a bygone era. The food was thoughtfully prepared and genuinely delicious, and the staff were warm, welcoming, and full of smiles. The only letdown was the size of the steak. While the menu didn't specify the portion, the price suggested a more generous serving, especially compared to what other places offer at a similar price point.”
“Very busy restaurant. Had lovely dinner there. Nice business owner. Food was pretty good.”
“Been here for different occasions for several times, I can only say nothing for me to complain about. Owners are very dedicated to the business, service is beyond average Chinese restaurants. Food is yummy with no question. They even have installed one Karaoke machine on the second floor private dinning room. They open for business in most days in a year which is very thoughtful. Love it!”
“We ordered the Polo E Funghi which is a creamy chicken and mushroom fettuccine pasta, A half in half hot & spicy and the lot pizza, and 2 desserts; the lava cake and the apple crumble. All there food was delicious and we will be coming again.”
“I visited the restaurant on Chinese New Year's Eve and I have to say, the staff are doing an incredible job. Normally, on CNY Eve, most restaurants have 2 sessions at 5pm and 7pm with set menus and packed spaces. However, the food and cleanliness were still well managed. I will definitely be returning to this place.”
“Great place to enjoy yumcha. It is located in Auckland CBD, huge variety of food to choose. Lovely staff, and very fair price. Their dimsum was made freshly, and the desserts were also great.”
“Beautiful place and food was outstanding all are vegetarian friendly and kids friendly place.my 1st time visit for my friends wedding anniversary treat and it was awesome and amazing. Staffs are so friendly as well.”
“Went for yum cha. Relaxing and modern ambience, clean & tidy and not a chipped piece of crockery to be seen! Good tasty menu selection although a tad on the pricey side but what they do is done well. Tables are spaced well apart during Covid restrictions and dishes are ordered from your table with a check list. One of the better yum cha places in the Howick/Botany area.”
“Really enjoyed our food - delicious! Didnt wait long for food to be served. Good service and clean. Relaxing atmosphere, we sat abit to chat and we weren't rushed to leave straight after eating. Good value for food.”
“Always good and consistent. Servings are huge and the flavours are good.”
“While waiting for a friend to arrive, I popped in to have a drink and ended up staying a few hours more. Great drinks. Great service. I didn’t want to lose my spot so one of the staff saved my table for me while I used the loo. Great location. Great prices.”
“We have been here a lot over the past couple of decades. Each time a wonderful experience. Last night our table had a mix of steak / pork loin / fisherman’s baskets. All were fantastic! Cooked beautifully! I’m on a keto diet and was able to eat well with no issues, always a win when dining out!”
“Lovely food. Staff great. Could be more up market without all the tvs. Guess it suits some people though. Top notch for Paeroa”
