First time in my life I have been served entree and main course at the same time. When I mentioned that I felt overwhelmed with food, it appeared this was nimot an unusual occurrence. Friend waited 45mins for her dessert and when mentioned to the waiter it was served immediately. It only needed cream added as it was a cold slice of cake
The best duck noodle soup in Wellington. The broth is SO rich and delish and the duck is crispy and it’s just so incredible.
The pan fried pork dumplings I had were excellent ... and I have had dumplings in Malaysia, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Chinatown in Melbourne, Sydney & San Francisco. It was a challenge for one staff member to serve the whole restaurant on a busy Friday night. However, he was polite and helpful.
That was hands down the worst restaurant I’ve ever been to. The food was absolutely awful, and to make it worse, the staff couldn’t care less about the customers—he was glued to his phone the entire time! The sheer disrespect and lack of service were unbelievable. I wouldn’t go back even if it were the last place on earth. Frankly, this place doesn’t deserve a single customer, and I can only hope it shuts down soon. No one should waste their time or money eating there. Just saying the food is not even edible, so pls do not waste your energy.
Chilli oil dumplings were good! The dumplings sit in the chili oil which I realised was more like a broth. It definitely had chilli oil in it tho. Still VERY flavourful. I didnt have rice but I think the chilli oil sauce would go really well with some rice. Staff are friendly, atmosphere was fine. The restaurant is on the smaller size but it didnt pose any inconveniences. The rest of the menu sounds so good and I definitely want to come back for more!
Chili oil dumplings. They're with the trip by themselves. Everything else is fine, hole-in-wall fare. Which is a good thing. But those dumplings will change your life. Or at least your dinner plans.
Food was nice, friendly staffs and portion was good too for town price. Needs to ventilate the place while cooking.
