ordered tonight and told the girl specifically that we need medium spice and not mild not spicy.the food they gave us literally sugar. even my 7year old asked me if I mixed Nutella in it. really really disappointed was not worth it at all.
Mango chicken is great. At extra hot wasn't as hot as I expected, but hot enough and very nice. Butter naan and garlic naan are both amazing - good and crispy =)
I am all for supporting local business . But i went in ordered my food i waited 45 min and i didnt get served so i told them to give that to me in a takeaway and my goodness that was the worst goat biriyani i tasted in my life. Am Indian and i had some pretty bad and good biryanis in my life but this was next level bad...
Just on the food alone, this place deserves 5 stars! One of the best curries I've had in years. I had the chicken vindaloo medium, and it was perfect! Hot but so tasty. So much flavour! Will definitely be back again for our curry fix!
Expensive place. We had biryani, prawn jalfrazi, chat, cholay baturay and palak paneer. With 2 breads an d 2 soft drinks. Total bill 100$. The palak paneer was not Worth it. Biryani ws ok only if u have never had one. Quality of Rice was a little low. Prawn jalfrezi, chat n cholay were good. Try it once..
Kinda liked the food here. It's a small Indian restaurant that serves alcohol on Victoria Street Great for takeaways the do a really good meal. You certainly won't leave feeling hungry. It's small so if you want a table give them phone call so that you know you have a reservation. The food tastes good and there is good variety. Car parking is generally not an issue but you may have a small walk.
Second time here and was perfect again! The staff were friendly and attentive to our needs. Food arrived in a timely manner and we're given extra sauces at no extra charge. I had the Butter Tika Masala mild, and my friend had a vegetable curry. Both fragrant and tasty and the meat curry had a good amount of chicken. The platter pictured was for 2 but could have easily fed 3 or 4. We also had the naan platter which had accompanied sauces. Will be back many times for sure!
