High Tea: Scone were beautiful, savouries were so great, sweets were nice enough. Not happy with the service though. Menu got put down, but no one back to take our drink order. It was almost 20 mins before we have our drinks. In fact, scone had even been served before our teas. We supposed to have bottomless tea, staff assure us when took order that we will get hot water to top up our tea pots. That had never happened! We try to get staff's attention with no luck. And staff hardly circle back to our area. At the we gave up and left to go get drinks else where.

We got the Devonshire tea for two. It was a super reasonable price for the lovely club sandwiches and scones with cream and jam. My friend has an allergy to cucumber and the kitchen staff had the server double check if a special sandwich was required as theirs has a pickle or relish on it (she is fine with pickles and the sandwich was super yum). The care and concern was much appreciated. They also took care to make sure we had drinks and opportunity to request refills. The view was stunning.

We always come here to enjoy the gardens but this was our First time eating here at the homestead, had the wild mushrooms, chorizo and eggs, absolutely divine, perfect pairing of flavours, staff were lovely and kind, sat outside in the sunshine, such a perfect place, will definitely be back!

Spent a lovely sunny lunch with family out on the patio at Mona Vale. The gardens are beautiful and the homestead is picturesque, it's such a lovely location, the Avon River meanders by, and you'll never be far from a duck. The food was delicious, the service was friendly and attentive. There's plenty of seating inside too, if the weather isn't playing ball. Highly recommend!

The place is amazing, and that is the best part of visiting. Service was good too. Unfortunately, the food was a bit of a disappointment; especially for the price. As one example, the cream provided for the scones appeared to be whipped cream; should be clotted cream if I am paying so much per scone. Would not return for the food - but would consider a hot drink before or after a nice walk.

Went with a friend for a high tea to celebrate her birthday & we had a lovely waitress called Joy. It's quite hard to find the entrance to the restuarant so recommend allowing plenty of time. Great service, beautifully presented food that was delicious.

We came 12 years ago. The cheese platter was great. Was a bit disappointed that it is just another cafe. Seems like some other management have took over this place. Atmosphere is still really good and foot is above average. Service was pretty average. We ordered a pumpkin soup of the day but it was not just a pumpkin soup, the orange is overwhelming and they should have inform us it is a pumpkin orange soup

I can't compliment them higher. They were so helpful with our booking. Treated us with pure kindness. The coffee was brilliant so much so I had two. The food delicious. Will definitely be back. The setting was magical.

The best Fish and Chips I’ve ever had? Quite possibly. Fantastically light and fluffy batter with decent crunch matched with a generous portion of tartare sauce. Perfectly cooked chips and super fresh side salad. Wonderful old homestead converted to dining with helpful, friendly and accommodating staff.

Had a lovely high tea here this morning. Beautiful surrounds. Very busy after 11am. The high tea was both savoury and sweet, one of the best I've had. Filling as well because of the sandwich, slider, mini pie and potato ball, not just sweet stuff. Highly recommend the high tea for something a but fancy for a treat.
