“A much higher end Korean BBQ restaurant that is justified as the entire dining experience is top notch. I was afraid there were no tables available as I hadn't booked but I was warmly welcomed on arrival. The restaurant has a beautiful interior, almost like Victorian style with a large and bright kitchen. Their menu has a range of freshly cut meats and food items and they recently have a summer menu consisting of many cold and marinated seafoods. We got two types of meat and from their seasonal menu we got the crab cold noodles and marinated raw prawns. The bonus to this reataurant is that it's charcoal BBQ. Everything was delicious, especially the seasonal menu. While you are cooking and eating, staff are constantly looking after their customers and will help you grill your meat and changing your BBQ rack for you. The crab cold noodles contain an entire marinated crab with spicy noodles (even though I was expecting crab meat) which was a bit difficult to eat but you can always ask staff to give you a pair of those disposal gloves. This place is a real treat and I appreciate such attentive customer service from staff. The price point would be considered on the higher side but is justified with the high quality of customer serivice and food.”

Among all the cafés and restaurants I’ve visited, they truly have the best service staff — warm, attentive, and genuinely kind every single time. “Authentic food, excellent decor, and great service. Sunny Town makes their dumplings fresh and in the open where you can observe. They also have an open kitchen. The food is delicious, with the perfect mix of spices. Definitely order the steamed dumpling, pork or vegetables as both are yummy. The spicy dumplings are not for everyone, but our daughter loved them. We loved the bamboo interior with comfortable seats. The service is prompt and friendly.”

Five spice beef is one of my definite favorites and highly recommend, it’s along a very convenient location in Queen Street and nearby a lot of shops, restaurants, and accommodations too. “Great food, felt like I was back in the Middle East. Loads of food in a eat all you can buffet.for $30. Food was fresh and tasty, was very busy but they squeezed us in on a Saturday night. It's an eat and go type place, you godforsaken the food rather than the atmosphere. Would recommend for those who love Lebanese.”

“Some would say the kebab is perfectly portioned here. Great taste and fresh ingredients. Hygyne is an issue. Watching the young guy go from till straight to my kebab without sanitising his hands is concerning. Try at least sanitising your hands b4 touching my food. The owner was lovely. He asked me why I didn't order a combo and quickly said his chips were the best, and he ordered special seasoning that only his store has. He then proceeded to season a chip and gave me a taste test. They were delicious. Next time im here, I'll definitely try out the combo. Passionate and lovely guy. Thank you.”

“This is (in my books) probably one of the best sushi places in the CBD area. A simple menu, that still offers quite a bit to choose from and food that is fresh and tasty. Great place for lunch.”

“I stopped by Gourmet Burger and Brew Kitchen for a quick coffee break and had their latte, priced at $5.50. The coffee was decent, smooth, and well-made, though nothing extraordinary. The ambiance was cozy and casual, making it a good spot for a brief stop. While the latte was a bit on the pricier side for its quality, the overall experience was pleasant enough if you're in the area and looking for a comfortable place to relax for a while. Would come back to try their food, but for just coffee, there might be better options nearby.”

“Thank you to the lovely couple who own King of Kings. They have become a precious part of our BHB community. Delicious food, very generous portions, A+ cleanliness and always a warm smile and friendly greeting. The home made wontons are the best in Auckland (in our opinion- we've tried plenty!) and homemade spring rolls are also excellent. Our favourite is the wholesome wonton soup. Nothing more comforting on a cold night- packed with wontons and veges. Divine food- made with love. Thank you! (Plenty of Vegetarian options available)”
