   Had the chicken burger. Tried to cut it with a steak knife. No luck.(i think it had been cooked a couple of times) .managed to cut some but couldn't chew it. Chips were cold. I asked for a replacement. Instead of a crumbled chicken burger patty like the first one it was chopped up chicken breast. The chips were Luke warm second time around. That also was grossly over cooked and inedible. I wouldn't recommend wasting your money here. Shocking as it was a family meal out, it was our Christmas lunch. It wasnt just my burger, my cousin ordered the same thing and had similar issue. Very very disappointed.

   The Pavilion Café is in the Hornby Club and is open to the public. The staff are lovely and friendly. Monday and Tuesday they have a roast special (not pictured). The food is always consistent. A favorite are pancakes and the burgers. Coffee is good too. Pricing is reasonable too. Pictures show pancakes, beef burger, beef schnitzel, steak and chips, granola bowl, lamb salad with rice.

   We used the Hornby Club for our work conference a month ago during Christmas period. I had ordered Apricot Chicken Pizza which wasn’t that bad but for the price could surely do better. The ladies though that served were nice and attentive so that offsets the not so good experience with their food.

   Went to eat out in the cafe so noisy in the bar area, but one lady serving out had such a loud voice, disappointing however my meal was nice steak eggs n chips, husband's schnitzel was over cooked, we attended a function upstairs,band Sweet As that was enjoyable x lol

   I didn’t like being called love by the waitress, ever second word was love. Please stop it sounds cheap and nasty. Food is no star because it didn’t arrive, even though the waitress read back to me what I was paying for, and they still forgot about it. So 1 star for service at least I got a coffee. Atmosphere it was so stinking hot in the cafe and then really cold.

   Had a delicious breakfast. Although my friend didn't get what she ordered. Friendly service. Good decor. Sun is a bit bright morning time. Gets busy. We were impressed we returned same day for lunch. Plenty of parking.

   Nice Club this one. Stopped here for lunch and was served up a great meal at very generous prices. They have all the facilities with pool and snooker plus a great gaming room. Just note it is a chartered club so you need to be signed in by a member or an affiliate from another club. Car parking is out front with HWMC on each park. If you want a nice meal and chat with friends and family this is a good place.
