I made the effort to travel to this store to look at their range of sleeping mats. I asked one of the girls if they could show me one I was interested in out of its bag and she seemed very discouraged and told me "the problem is I have to roll it back up". Why should I spend $200 on a 'mystery' roll mat when they can't even be bothered to show me what I'd be buying?
Super friendly and helpful staff. Not to mention top quality merch too. Go here for your camping, tramping, travel gear. So worth it!

Great service from Kathmandu Silverdale. I went in with my Mum on 4 July to get a few items. We were there for quite a while trying on various things. Two very lovely helpful shops assistants to look after us. Thanks so much
It was a pathetic experience in store there as I bought a jacket and decided to return it just in 5 -10 minutes because I found another jacket more appealing but the store lady decided not to refund it giving me a lame excuse that since the transaction was made through afterpay she is finding it hard to refund it and I should have used eftos instead. I still can't understand if she didn't know how to use the system or she deliberately didn't wanted to refund it. I checked the return policy which states that you can return the item within 60 days and I still don't know why it was so hard to do it after 10 minutes of purchase. You really need to train your staff well. Please let me know how I can return the item.
