Warm, friendly and knowledgeable staff. Good experience overall. The only thing I think has room for improvement is the visual navigation of the store. The signages inside the store could be slightly bigger or of different color combinations so that wayfinding is convenient for the customers.
Over 500 dollars for a jacket is crazy idc if its Llama Lemar or lion fur not worth it
Even at the tail end of the day young and enthusiastic staff were very helpful. Quality of product - first class as always.
Had a really positive interaction with the lovely young staff member with long hair and glasses when we visited a couple weeks back. Experienced great customer service and kindness despite having confusion with my account and eftpos card. Hard for us oldies sometimes! Left very satisfied with what we bought and felt the need to share despite not being a usual reviewer. Thank you for the assistance! Good to see kindness in the world :-)

Which there was 10 stars to give Kathmandu. Went in today to see if my jacket could be repaired as it had 4 tears in it. The staff said it was unrepairable and as it was under warranty swapped it out for a new one. I was totally stunned and impressed with that kind of warranty and customer service.
Stock was fairly limited when we were looking for a particular item, this may well have been due to the time of the year. Service was satisfactory. The items we were looking for were on safe so that was a bonus. As a loyalty member I also got a $10 post shopping voucher, so guess I will need to go shopping again to use it, first world problem.
One of my fave outdoor stores! I got so many items my family and I love here, starting from jackets, wind breakers, fleece, warm layers, flannels, sleeping bags, to tents and all the gears. We got our winter and summer gears & necesitties as well as tent and folded chairs here. I love the designs, colors and materials they use. This store in Petone has a big collection of clearance sale and usually it has 20 % extra discounts. The staff are very friendly and helpful, they also answer all of my questions regarding the products I need. The store is big and spacious, with many spots for parking. The clearance items are on the second floor and I only see the stairs.
