“We went here because it was close to our hotel and the reviews were good. Did not disappoint with the taste. Lovely food. Basic menu but tasty and that's what you want.”

“5 stars for being super dog friendly. The food was pretty good too. We got the shared meatboard to try a few different meats and was pretty good value. We really liked the beef brisket and the chicken tenderloins. Our least favourite was the pulled pork.”

“Haven't had decent Chinese since The Flying Horse Chinese in Takapuna. First time and Wow everything was fabulous. Great taking the order on the phone! We had wontons & dumplings that were huge and full of meat with a decent tub of sauce! Fried rice, S&S Pork, Chicken CM very tasty and great servings. Definitely coming again!! Well done!”

“We were a group of 3, we ordered bbq ribs with wedges salad, grilled fish with roast potatoes salad, lamb shanks with mash and Veges for our mains. Amazing dishes, good portions. The service was attentive. Our entree jalapeño poppers were the best we've had. This is my 2nd time at this restaurant. We all left very happy with our meals! Will definitely be back again.”

“Of course, the taste is not as good as real Japanese sushi, but it is certainly fresh sushi that is handmade every morning. It is quite good for sushi in a mall food court.”

“$9.90. Let that sink in for a moment. With such a incredible price point, this establishment checks all of the boxes for dishing out some amazing food at this price point. Amazing mix and portions of meat, vegetables and rice which is punching way above its value. I personally think it's almost impossible to have so much value compared to a home cooked meal. While I haven't been to many $9.90 establishments, I can say that so far, Smart Kitchen has the most in depth and complex flavours. Overall, highly recommend cheap eats lunch box in Albany. Great value and great flavours to make a dent in the saturated $9.90 market.”

“The food here comes fast and piping hot fresh. The service is always friendly. I've had several of their dishes and the tempura that comes with the bento is also cooked to perfection. The teriyaki chicken feels home cooked with the correct ratio. We are regulars here at lunch because the prices are just right.”
