“A nice cafe on the top of the gift shop. They have a wide variety on their menu for cold and hot food. There is also a wide selection of cold and hot beverages including juices, sodas, beer, and Coffee. There is ample dining space inside the cafe with both indoors and semi outdoors options. Their staff are really nice and the service is also fast. The prices are relatively normal given how touristy this site is. This is a great spot to grab a meal or drink either before or after your tour. Since the spot is pretty much half an hour away from any decent restaurant in the area, so it’s good to grab a bite. The parking is free in the main parking lot and there is no time limit. Moreover, there is free WiFi in the restaurant. The menu has vegetarian options, while you can check with the staff for your dietary restrictions. The cafe however is not wheelchair accessible since it’s on the first floor of a wooden building accessible by stairs only. The menu has various kid-friendly items as well.”

“Everything at this café was excellent and the staff are very good and are very friendly. The food was excellent and the atmosphere was really nice with the garden and gave the café a good tone. Would recommend to people on road trips as it helps break up the trip.”

“Awesome place. Mini Golf, Train rides. The mini golf is affordable compared to others I have been to or looked at. Big playground and field to play on. A fountain. A nice place to hang out”

“Really Impressed with these guys. We bought a fridge and they were able to help with loading and loaning us a dolly. Jaimie and the team were polite, professional, never pushy and very accomodating. “Went for lunch on Saturday with my 6 year old. He absolutely loved his mango smoothie and cookie and my Chicken/Prawn Laksa was delicious. Highly recommend and we will be back. Awesome, friendly service with a smile. Can't fault it.”

“⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ✅ ✅ ✅ ✅ ✅ Super tidy, clean, comfortable and central accommodation. And what I mean by that is possibly the cleanest and freshest place I have stayed at in a long time. Speaking to the owners in the morning it is approx 5 years old, so credit to the cleaners and maintenance team as this literally feels brand new. Bed and pillows were comfortable, the kitchen has literally everything you need if staying for slightly longer in a super cute, compact and functional kitchenette. I would def recommend for work trips, both short and longer. Couples escapes (try get harbour views if couples), or solo mental health get aways.”

“We have stayed here multiple times now and it is our go to spot for accommodation when visiting the Mount. Rooms are spacious and tidy, location is close to centre - easy walking distance and Leo (The owner) is very kind and accomodating to any needs. Highly recommend !”

“Fish jungle curry for me and chili chicken salad for her ... all delicious. Tucked away but plenty of parking. Is very popular so get in early or call ahead to avoid disappointment. The coffee is great too! Treat yourself - you deserve it!!”

“Modestly sized for a monumental fountain, it features a pool that is quite large in relation to the fountain itself. Access is via steps and a ramp.”

He was so kind to take the time to answer all my questions about mass planting, what some of the plants were, what works, and what doesn't. He was extremely knowledgeable and took great pride in his work.”

“The perfect place to see a movie. Cheap, affordable with a great atmosphere and the staff are super friendly. Grab a bite before or after the movie at the restaurant located in the cinema building or you can get some munchies for the movie itself. Either way it's a great local experience and my wife and I feel so privileged to have a cinema right in town.”

“PRECINCT cafe at Otago Museum is my regular place to catch up with colleagues and friends over coffee. Today, I had jasmine lime tea, which was incredibly refreshing and organic, instead of a tea bag. I love their gluten-free carrot cake. The staff were attentive and friendly as usual and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Overall, Precinct Café offers an exceptional dining/coffee experience that I highly recommend to anyone visiting Dunedin.”

“I only order salmon and avocado sushi. Came here for the first time 2 days ago and the workers were very friendly and accommodated my request for a newly made pack of sushi without the wasabi and ginger in it (allergies). They did not hesitate to make a new pack and they smiled and were attentive to me and other customers the whole time. The sushi itself contained a lot of salmon compared to St Pierre's. I will definitely be back.”
