Stellar burger that was fresh, super juicy and tons of creative toppings that just worked together. Big size too so I was full after just the burger. Got the GF bun which was sweet potato and it was great too. Make sure to grab the dessert sampler bag, great idea and 4 delicious desserts
tried the beef burger, pattie was dry and not much taste, egg was black and oily underneath, overall not a great burger. Staff need more cooking skills which training will help with.
Tried the Bethells and Wigmore burgers from here and enjoyed both. The bun was good quality and burgers decently sized. Only open Thurs - Sat in the evening so make sure to check their opening hours beforehand.
I brought two pies they looked good as always but as soon as I open one of them it was quarter full. I things are hard for a lot of real tap retail at the moment. But please don't s expect anyone to pay for a Pie at $6.50 The pies was same size as Big Ben pies that are $3.70 and the bigger ones are $4.70. Depending on the shop that is selling them.
Delicious pies and burgers at very reasonable prices. Love the steak, bacon and cheese pie, all the others I have tried have also been top notch, beautiful flakey pastry with a tonne of yummy filling, never disappoints. Was very impressed with the burgers when we tried them, something for everyone! Staff are really friendly and great vibe. Highly recommend if you are in the area, and worth the travel if you aren’t!
Love the rocky road slice. Maintains a good standard of healthy yummy food, reliable places for lunches. Personally think the burgers are a great reasonable price in todays market.
lovely big burgers but don't like the wholemeal bread buns very much and the Chipotle sauce was just a sweet relish which tasted like someone had put sugar on my burger and spoiled the lovely flavor of all the generous sized fresh ingredients. maybe I'm too busy though so I gave them 4 stars because the food is actually of high quality
Ordered three pies today (pepper steak, steak and onion relish and hot chilli beef) and a raspberry white chocolate muffin. The muffin was really nice (at first it looked like it was only good stuff on top but actually the inside did have chocolate bits in it, it was very good). The pies were so disappointing. I paid and then I picked up the bags and my heart sank, immediate regret. They were so light I knew there wasn't an acceptable amount of filling in them. My hot chilli beef pie was dry with not enough in it and the boys said their pies were underfilled too. Thoroughly disappointed. We've had good pies in the past here (mushroom and blue cheese) and while they've never been particularly full pies, they've never been this bad before. Edited to add after response: I paid and then picked up the pies and immediately wanted to undo the transaction but it doesn't work that way. So you get a review instead.
Great coffees, extra hot as requested. Sausage rolls were nice and crunchy, just out of the oven. Bit pricey on some items though. Friendly service and by reading other reviews will be back to try your burgers.
