   Just came here for dinner, was looking for something local. The place did not disappoint. Food 10/10 - got the lamb shank, the potatoes were crispy, vegetables perfectly cooked.    We were a group of 3, we ordered bbq ribs with wedges salad, grilled fish with roast potatoes salad, lamb shanks with mash and Veges for our mains. Amazing dishes, good portions. The service was attentive. Our entree jalapeño poppers were the best we've had. This is my 2nd time at this restaurant. We all left very happy with our meals! Will definitely be back again.

   Really surprising find - a good quality gastropub with a fun wee theme, right in the middle of airport hotel and industrial zone. Big chain beers, surprisingly thoughtful good food choices prepared with care and quality. I considered driving further from the airport to find good food, but this was better than MANY of the competitors in Onehunga or Manukau. Worth it.

   The beer was cold. The curry was mild. Nice outdoor sitting area. Big inside sitting area. Glad to have found a place for lunch on a Sunday after minigolf in the area. Suitable for large groups as it is spacious and has separate sections.

   We found a perfect venue for our Nana’s 80th birthday. The intimate, cozy vibe made our family feel at home. The catering service was top-notch, especially the delicious fish bites and the ham, and they ensured the food was plentiful. The booking process was smooth and transparent from start to finish. A heartfelt thank you to the welcoming staff for creating a wonderful and memorable celebration for our Nana!

   Great place for a nice pub dinner. Atmosphere was good with very attentive service and reasonable prices. Great alternative to eating at the hotel restaurant if you're staying at the jet park hotel down the road.

   Judging by the other reviews, we must have caught this place on a bad night. Our table of 5 was seated quickly, the place was not that busy, only 5 to 10 tables with people. We mentioned to the waitress that the table was quite sticky, so the waitress went and got a cloth and wiped 2 sides of the 4 sided table. Missing quite a bit. She then came back with a tea kettle of water, which was a nice touch. But she didn't hang around to ask about any drinks order. About ten minutes later she returned with a bunch of menus and only then asked about drinks. We ordered a bottle of wine to share and a beer. We received our wine and beer. And ordered food. Two x catch of the day, two x lamb shanks, and one steak. Food came out pretty quickly, but maybe that was a bad thing. The steak was good. The fish smelt really badly of fish. It might have been the catch of the day, but it certainly wasn't a recent day, definitely not fresh. The lamb shanks were seriously undercooked. Still pink near the bone. Lamb shanks should be slow cooked, and the meat should fall off the bone. I had the shank, and eating this meal was a fight! Had to leave a fair bit of meat on the bone as I didn't want to go caveman style. When we were all finished we had to ask for our table to be cleared of the plates, as the empty fish plates were still quite pungent. The decor and ambience was pleasant enough, but the staff were really inattentive, we would have likely had another few drinks easily if we were asked/offered. As it was, we went back to our hotel and used the bar there. Based on the meals and the service we received, I couldn't recommend this place. Maybe we chose poorly, as the table behind us ordered ribs and they came out smelling amazing and we heard noises of pleasure from the table. And the steak was pretty good.
