“Great place for a shopping experience. Laid out well with no hindering isle stacks. Signage and ticketing is better with honest prices or discounts. The rewards card is alright in accumulated points but the basics like milk, bread, flour, eggs, sugar etc... should accumulate better points. Otherwise great teamwork.”

“An example of excellent customer retention, the value of good people, and a drive to "make things right". Oliver (assistant manager, Petoni) won me over after my absolutely terrible service at the Lower Hutt branch - almost forcing me to demand refunds for a Tawa desk I bought with a woman whom I struggled to communicate with and appeared to have the decision-making capability of a deer stuck in the headlights of an oncoming car, and identified as a manager named "Kalkatana". In frustration, I called their 0800 number and after me misidentifying the branch in my fluster (I am new to Wellington), was put in contact with Oliver Munn from Petoni (only a few weeks on the job) and their management team sorted out everything. He even delivered the desk to me. He was apologetic, courteous and has retained me as a "Warehouse Stationery" customer with his quick thinking and decisive action. I will be buying more from Petoni branch, never again from Lower Hutt until changes are made. Thanks, Oliver - and I assume the branch manager had some part in this too! Thanks!”

Great value with the twin pack deals since I had previously bought them during sales at pet retailers and online at another site that had loyalty points I used but nothing beats getting reliable delivery with budget saving value. Very busy Cafe with relaxed atmosphere, lots of green plants, can tell the owner is into sustainability - reusable mugs for "have here" customers (looks like you choose your own mugs too), biocups made from plants not oil for takeaway coffee, and even the takeaway cup holders were made of milk cartons! The coconut Latte I had was very nice. Will definitely be back!”

“On Monday 22 September 2025, the team at the Animal Medical Centre worked for over 3 hours to remove LFC - liquid filling concrete - from the paws and other places of my cat Morgan La Fay. When Morgan got home and had recovered from sedation, she was completely back to normal. How Morgan came to walk through LFC is a long story which I will not recount. I do need to say 2 things, though, to make clear what a miracle the team achieved. The first is that, by the time I got her to the vet on Monday afternoon, the LFC had been on her paws and other places for 24 hours. She sounded like a ballet dancer en pointe when she walked around and kept hitting her ear with her back paw when trying to scratch it. The second is that Morgan is a cat with a very definite list of "nots" - do not walk towards me, do not pick me up, do not put me in a cage, do not leave me with strangers, do not touch my paws ... and on it goes. I knew she would have to be in a crush cage and I knew that even crush cages have their limits. The AMC team got all the hard-baked concrete off Morgan and left her with no ill-effects. That truly was a magnificent piece of work. I cannot speak highly enough of their ingenuity, patience, dedication, and veterinary knowledge and I am deeply grateful to them all. Thank you again to everyone who helped.”

They have picked up on dangerous drug interactions missed by doctors when prescribing them, they are respectful of patient privacy when discussing medications around other customers, the vaccinations Mohamad gives are quick and painless, and they give excellent recommendations. I am always so impressed by how they always have ensure you’re well informed about what you’re being prescribed, even printing out information sheets and talking through complex dosages.
