The place was crowded, could only see two staff members, only one manned checkout was open. The place is far too small to have so many self service checkouts. Do we get our goods any cheaper???
As though this store didn't have enough marks against it, today they didn't even have a manned checkout open....not everyone wants to self checkout!!! Bring back some service for goodness sake!!
Wonderful place to shop , the staff are great and they stay open until 9pm
Great place for a shopping experience. Laid out well with no hindering isle stacks. Signage and ticketing is better with honest prices or discounts. The rewards card is alright in accumulated points but the basics like milk, bread, flour, eggs, sugar etc... should accumulate better points. Otherwise great teamwork.
Beaut specials beats New World Waihi that's for sure
Great little store, has all the necessities and has great specials. Most staff are lovely, although there was one guy (stocking shelfs) expecting people to make way for him and blocking the isle with his cart. He must hate his job or he'd be more courteous. It would be a 5 star if it weren't for that guy.
Have never got everything on my shopping list. They have quite a few empty shelves
I do shop here for my basics, staff are awesome. More variety at Morrinsville Countdown. Plenty of parking. Hi went to our local Countdown this morning, and was able to get what I needed which was awesome. Considering what the staff have been through over the last couple of yrs with Covid, I say a big warm thank you to you all. Some items may have not been in the shop over time. But you all kept the doors open and you all smiled and were all friendly. Thank you from me I'm a local and once again I appreciate your work you've done and still doing. The place is clean and tidy and still the shelves are stacked. Go have a look and say hi to the staff
Do my best not to shop at this store, often low on stock, not a lot of variety, and very minimal staffing. Many times at check outs I've had staff scan and throw my items down the line and they've ended up falling onto the floor/haven't bothered to offer help pack and just stand there watching while I do it myself. When they do help pack they end up squashing soft things like your bread under cans etc. Sad to hear a lot of comments from the community saying the same.
