“Quentin and Luke and the team did a refurb on our existing pool. Wow what a transformation! They were in and out in a week, super efficient with fiberglassing and repaving the bullnose pavers around the pool. Exceptional work by a fast and friendly team. Would no hesitate to recommend!”
“My son and his family lives in Christchurch and he's been talking about this Afgan place and would take us there if we're in Christchurch. A must-try spot in Christchurch! There’s no menu—just walk in and let them know how many people are dining or ordering takeaway. They usually open around 5:30 p.m., and there’s always a long line, so give yourself extra time. The food is simple but absolutely delicious—choose chicken, lamb, or a mix, served with tasty rice and curry. It’s great value for money and always consistent. We ordered 3 servings for 5 people, and it was more than enough. Don’t expect a typical restaurant setup. You get your own drinks, plates, and cutlery. If you're dining in, you can skip the takeaway queue—just find a seat and order at the counter. We always get an extra serving to enjoy for lunch the next day. Tip: Join their Facebook group to check if they’re open. Long wait, but totally worth it!”
“Wow, what a fabulous activity to have in the heart of the city! A number of Punt boats go down the Avon River, guided by young gentleman dressed in the European/English style, to give some authentic vibes to the experience! Charlie was our 'punter' a very friendly young chap, and very knowlegable about the Botanical Gardens we floated beside, as well as all the variety of birds and Ducks on the river! The tour lasts around 1/2 hr, and worth every dollar!”
“Page is a queen, don’t play w meeeee. give her a pay rise + 2 week all expense paid holiday to bali. made our experience so perfect”
“Obviously very beautiful place. Only experienced surfers can surf here. Really cool to watch surfers shredding the waves”
“Never heard about this waterfall before and just spotted it on the way from Tauranga to Auckland. Really cool waterfall. Not huge but still decent size. Went here in winter on a lightly raining day, so there it was not busy at all.”
Dumpling House 香饽饽 - CBD Express is a premier dining destination in Hamilton Central, celebrated for its authentic Chinese cuisine and vibrant flavours. The restaurant captivates diners with an inviting atmosphere, where the aroma of freshly cooked dishes fills the air. It excels not only in flavour but also in efficiency, with meals served promptly, even during busy hours. The clean kitchen and the artful preparation of dishes are highly appreciated by customers. The menu features a wide range of delectable options, with the handmade dumplings being a particular highlight.
“This is a unique time capsule and an example of very clever late 19th/early 20th century innovations in domestic architecture/technology. Absolutely fascinating and guides were encyclopedic in their knowledge. Even the family history was attention grabbing. Everybody in our group was impressed with this place. 6 (or 7) out of 5 stars.”
“Go here for the odd meeting and am impressed with the setting.”
“Great place check out the city. Also found a teenage blackbird bath in a dirty water hole. Brave bird wasn’t afraid of me at all but it didn’t know bathing in dirty water won’t get itself clean”
“Went as an international visitor and I think I paid $35 for the whole experience. They have so many exhibit including NZ/Dunedin early history, Maori, "Animal Attic" (mostly animal taxidermy), Maritime (ship models) and People of the World (random assortment of cultures - they even have a mummy). The Planetarium was alright but I went to the Night Sky one which was rather boring to be honest. The science/kids section was fun but a lot of the exhibit needs to be refreshed as they have seen a lot of use. The butterfly garden was very interesting as it is something you don't see often. They also have a cafe onsite but I did not try it. I spent around 3hrs trying to see everything but this place definitely need a few visits if you want to experience everything. My only complaint is that the gift shop does not have many Otago Museum branded things -only magnets and postcard - I was ready to buy more souvenirs, had they had more!”
“The staff are awesome. So friendly and go the extra mile for you. Great product knowledge and passionate about mixes, cocktails and everything you need. Happy to print out a recipe and show how it's made. Keep up the great work you guys are really appreciated!”
“Outstanding! First time we've visited, and this is the best playground we've been to in our nearly 8 years in Auckland... even worth the trip all the way from east Auckland! We will be coming back, and I understand there are a few other similar playgrounds in west Auckland! Very impressive!”
“A beautiful beach if you are looking to see it with family and friends.”
“Love this theatre! Staff always so friendly and the whole place has a great vibe ✨️ ☺️”

“I recently visited the beach, and it was an amazing experience. The walk along the shore with my dog and kids was absolutely perfect—plenty of space to roam and explore. The views were breathtaking, with the expansive ocean stretching out in front of us. If you're lucky, you might even spot some seals lounging nearby, which was a real highlight of the day. A perfect spot for a family outing, with nature at its finest!”
“The very best point to get views of Oriental Bay and beyond. The "convent" is undergoing renovation and on weekdays parking at this spot might be problematic.”
“My friend and I came in to have something to eat and chat. We were met with amazing service, so kind and caring when ordering our food. We weren't too hungry so we shared a mixed meat on chips and they brought it out with an extra plate for us to share. The meat on chips was the most delicious one we've had yet. So filling yet refreshing at the same time. We couldn't stop talking about how amazing the meal was. New favourite food place in wellington 5 stars!”
“great concept! cool fish and delicious pizza”
“It was an excellent culinary experience. The owner was extremely welcoming. The Indian food as well as the lamb was amazing. I highly recommend stopping by. The menu was very diverse, so, if you have a group that has difficulty finding a restaurant, this may be the place for you. The interior was nice and kept clean.”

“Enjoyed taking my nephew for a walk along the beach and watching him play around in the sand”
“Excellent service, a very easy experience. Airpark was part of our SNAP rental car pickup and dropoff as our flight times were outside business hours. The staff were friendly, organised and the service is fast. The facilities are tidy, the carpark is completely sealed, and the offices are spacious and modern. After being in some terrible places in Auckland we allowed alot of time for car dropoff - there was no need. Would recommend both SNAP and AIRPARK CANTERBURY and will definately use again.”
“Absolutely loved this place! A cozy, family-run Japanese restaurant with amazing food and a welcoming atmosphere. The food was fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. The staff were kind and attentive, making us feel right at home. Perfect spot for anyone who appreciates Japanese cuisine and warm hospitality!”
