Absolutely beautiful, nice scenic walk and views of the river. Took a plunge and it was freezing but refreshing. The tunnel is cool and we saw a few glow worms too.
Never heard about this waterfall before and just spotted it on the way from Tauranga to Auckland. Really cool waterfall. Not huge but still decent size. Went here in winter on a lightly raining day, so there it was not busy at all.
What a beautiful haven of biodiversity! Just a short walk from the main road—roughly a couple of minutes—and you’ll surely enjoy it with your bunch of friends, family, or even little ones. It’s safe to walk through and truly a relaxing paradise
Beautiful falls and easy walk from the parking spot. We stopped by here from Auckland on the way to Tauranga during the King's Birthday break. It's a beautiful place and easy to access for family with kids. It has some steps along the way so it might be tricky for wheelchairs and pram/stroller.
Only a 2 minutes walk to a beautiful waterfall, perfect place to stop while driving! The walk is down/up hill and can be slippery if it has been raining so be careful
Several visits to this waterfall and I am always blown away by its beauty. The late storm made it even more dramatically gorgeous. Short walk down to reach it it's pretty close to the road. Perfect spot for meditation, picnic (unless it's heavy rain),...! Worth a quick or longer stop
The falls were worth 5 stars today, especially after all the rain weve had. They are only a 30 seconds from the main road through the gorge. The ride from Paeroa through to Waihi is a great scenic ride apart from all the goldfield stuff, which is worth vising also.
