   Fantastic area to hang out for the day and feel refreshed. Just unfortunate the surroundings aren't taken care of. As soon as you cross the road from the beach, the neighbors is in clear need of help.

   Beautiful beach, with a peir, playground, restaurant, library and some hot pools all on the beach-side. The beach is known for some pretty cold winds, so you'll need a jacket, especially in the winter. The beach is very long, it has lots of space for those walking, running, surfing, and sun bathing. There are free sunscreen stations at a couple of the main entrances to the beach, public toilets right next to the pools, and by the peir. The peir is wheelchair accessible from the right. The beach is a great place to sit and have a good view of the moon or have a gaze at the stars on a clear night.

   The water is untamed as it is the open ocean, so if you are coming here for a summer swim it'll be hard to find a day on which it isn't super windy and the water isn't cold- but the pier is a really great place to take a stroll on or fish on. This place is popular for surfing but unless you're sure what you're doing I would advice against braving the waves. The sand is very clean, though, and the pathways on the grassy hills separating the beach from the road are convenient ways to enjoy nature without sand in your shoes.

   Playground is excellent with water features everywhere. Good for the kids on a hot day. If the beach isn't your thing for a swim, there's always the indoor/outdoor pools next door. A library & restaurant is also connected to the pier and more eateries are across the road

   I've reviewed this stunning complex on other forums already. All I can say here is do yourselves a favour and go as soon as you can. Impossible to fault. Choice of pools, landscape, no crowds, heated changing rooms and the staff are INCREDIBLE!
