“One of the best places to stay in this area. I've have been a number of times and my mum has been staying here a few times a month for years for her work. They are very accommodating and quick to bring you something like extra towels. Their pool is under cover and is usually tepid. The rooms are clean and relatively new. They are also in the process of upgrading the bathrooms in all of their rooms. The owner is one of the loveliest people to deal with, she makes you feel welcome and as if nothing is a problem. My mum has back and knee problems sometimes so the owner would switch out dining room chairs with her own ones. You don't get this kind of service from many places.”

“The staff here are amazing! Went in yesterday, it was intensely busy and they were handling it like the pro's they are. I hope you all get paid well for your work because damn, you were good. Customers get so agitated when it's that busy, they want to get served straight away & patience is not their strong points but you all were juggling it all with such grace. Particularly one staff member, absolutely superhuman, you can tell they've been working there a long time. I love my sketchers~ but I'm reviewing because you better take care of that team!”

“Love this place would definitely recommend anyone to stay here. The room we stayed in was nice and warm and it had everything you need in the kitchen. Its affordable and the manager was even up late to wait for us to check in as we were travelling from Auckland. Love how there was another room inside with two singles for those who wants a quiet and peaceful sleep and a double in the main lounge if u wanna watch tv. My husband and I will love to come here again. And our parking was right in front of our room even more better. Thank you”

“I spoke with a lady named Lara , who had patience and took her time explaining to me what I didn't understand until i understood , she involved abit of humor to make the call more easy going, which I appreciated and was just lovely to work with over the phone with her. She helped me get what I was looking for and made all the benefits of AA aware to me which makes me want to stay with AA. “I always grab my matcha latte from here. It’s my little pre-workout ritual before heading to the gym! The staff here are amazing and always so friendly. One time I came in totally distracted and couldn’t remember my order (I always get the same thing), and the kind barista said, “almond milk matcha latte?”. Ever since then he just asks, “the usual?” and makes it perfect each time. It’s small gestures like that that make the experience so special. Great matcha, even better service!”

“Good spot for the sunrise and access to the cycle path that can take you all the way around the harbour to Portobello or the other direction to Port Chalmers. Decent parking and accessible parking also. Seating close by so you can just sit and enjoy the harbour views.”

“Dan, you are awesome. We recently purchased a Laptop from Noel Leamings at Westgate. It was a replacement for my desktop which I had used for some time. Being not too up to date with tech, we had Dan at Noel Leeming’s Tech desk transfer all our files across to the new computer. He managed to transfer a great deal of data across to the laptop and he was so helpful walking us through the set-up. We found the entire process very convenient, and Dan’s expertise was invaluable.
