Got the honey chicken on fried rice today, very disappointed with the quality. Chicken was dry and overcooked. Tasted like it was old chicken they used. Won’t be going back there.
IM LOCAL FROM NAWTON HAVE BEEN HERE SINCE THIS SHOP HAS OPENED , HAS ALWAYS HAD POOR SEASONING IN FOOD AND BARELY ANY MEAT IN MEALS VERY STINGY AND NOT THE BEST NOODLE CANTEEN, HAVE FOUND A BETTER NOODLE CANTEEN HEAD OVER TO FIVE CROSS ROAD THEYRE WORTH THE MONEY AND CHEAPER THAN THIS PLACE VERY LOVELY FOOD.
The food doesn’t have much flavour, very plain. Won’t come back unfortunately.
Friendly, but not happy to accommodate changes in the menu. Very poor value for money, they use way too much noodles and barely any flavoring and meat/tofu/veg.
Ordered a sweet box I ate 2 chunks of pineapple. I told my partner id give her a taste 0ff the blandest pineapple ever i would give it too her, but found no more pineapple.... bland gross unclean.
Tried Nawton Noodle Canteen tonight and very disappointed. Went here instead of Peachgrove Road as it was closing. Singapore fried noodles was tasteless and had no sauce on it at all. Wish we could rate it higher but It was not nice at all. Prices are also higher here too.
Ordered Nasi Goreng & Singapore noodles, NG was good, a little under seasoned, but otherwise ok. The Singapore Noodles were rubbish. No flavour, think instant noodles without the flavor sachet, almost no vegetables or protein, just a bowl of boiled bland noodles, no hint of the curry sauce.
I bought a couple of noodle soups and they were so shocking I will never come back here again. My soups were so watered down that they had no flavour at all. The food was all soggy like it was yesterday's stuff that had been rehaeted in a microwave.. the only thing I could taste was the prawns. That was my first time trying this place and my last. If you are going to get noodle canteen, make sure you get it from peachgrove road where they make it fresh and it has flavour.
