“Awesome little look into a time that’s not ours. Ride on the car or take a family snap on the porch either way it’s a great back drop for a lovely photo”
“Came during an off-peak time and Jacob was very welcoming for wine tasting and even showed us around the venue. The wine tasting was great and heavily recommended.”
“Can’t go wrong with Robert Harris, you always get a consistent feed. Got the salmon eggs bene and it had a really decent amount of salmon which is rare. The salmon roulade was great and the chips. Coffee is always good. Staff were friendly too.”
“This playground is superb, fairly recently refurbished, although some of the equipment is in need of repair, the flying fox used to be a fun double, but looks like it's been decommissioned. There is an in ground bouncy pad that's been boarded up. Still plenty to do though, water play and slides. There is a pump track around the playground, and a full size BMX track next door. There are also some walking tracks around the lake if you feel like a stroll. Watch out for little kids gravitating towards the water. With the water backdrop it's the most picturesque playground in hamilton for sure! We saw a sign to some toilets behind the netball courts, but unsure if they are open to the public.”
“Awesome time and greatest time watching the balloons be put up and the kids loved it as well”
“Shout out to Roger. Friendly, knowledgeable bloke in the paint department. Listened to my project and advised me accordingly on everything I needed. Very lucky to have found him on the day I went in.”

“Ducks. Who doesn't love ducks. Oh and eels. Heck yeah eels and ducks. Bring bread. Or cooked rice if youre worried about the effects of bread on ducks. Bread is better then nothing though, dont believe the hype. Bread wont actually hurt the ducks its just not as healthy. Hope you enjoyed this review on ducks. Watch out for the angry goose. He's mad at the other goose. Maybe the other goose stole his girlfriend. I dont know. I dont speak Canadian. Hope this helps”
“Good equipment, well designed. Zip line is great fun. Nice seating for parents. Coffee shop just a short walk away.”
“Great basketball court(half court), my friend and I love this place. Played it the other day until night, it was dark but some street light beside. however, it would be better to have some light for the basketball court.”
“Awesome place. Mini Golf, Train rides. The mini golf is affordable compared to others I have been to or looked at. Big playground and field to play on. A fountain. A nice place to hang out”

“A really wonderful community hub. I came here for a hot shower and ended up making friends, running into old friends, and then staying for the community dinner. The centre is well organized, well lit, friendly, and truly community driven. There is food and hot showers for everyone, and food to take away. I really enjoyed myself and although the shower could do with some extras, it is hot and is just what you need when you've been bathing in a cold stream for 6 months! Cheers to the staff and volunteers at Aritaki community hub. You are the true people who make the world spin and my heart goes out to you. Next I am there, My hands will jump in to help, too.”
“5 stars for the customer service given by Judy, she is an absolute GEM, super knowledgeable and so willing to help. I have been back and forth to the shop leading up to having my baby and Judy has always been so helpful.”
“What a great campground! The pool and facilities are beautiful, well maintained and clean. I wasn't sure what to expect after the previous review but I was actually amazed with how nice and clean everything was and the bush behind makes it so tranquil! Lots of cool details including the swimwear dryer in the ladies changing room. Definitely keen to come back again!”
“Been here many times. Parking can be a little hard to find when town is open, so arrive early to give yourself time to find a park etc. This visit was for the Pink Floyd experience Fantastic night. Great set up. Clean facilities.”

“I have had many meetings at the Hillier Centre. It is always well presented, and all the staff and agencies are welcoming. Staff are always welcoming and friendly..”
“The drift trikes are great fun and the staff were very accommodating about turning the music down a bit for our son. Our group was not the speediest on the track but it's fun to drift and you can get a good slide going at a very safe speed. It was just the 4 of us on the track which was nice. Our youngest rider was a teenager, oldest was Grandma who is in her 70s. I have seen other groups be a bit more adventurous - sometimes in a good way, once in a slightly worrying way when we were on the track with them and they tried to go full speed all the time. They say in the instruction video that drifting is about style, not speed and I agree. Spinning out once or twice is fine, crashing more than once into the barriers is careless!”
The Freeport with Cleaver & Co is a relaxed Mount Maunganui spot combining a tavern vibe with wood‑fired Napoli‑style pizza and smoke‑kissed BBQ. The menu highlights handcrafted pizzas and crowd‑pleasing pub fare, backed by tap beers and regular live‑sport or music sessions.
“Loved being able to watch the FIFA match between NZ & Vietnam so close to home & relieved to find excellent covered seating in case the weather changed. Needed more food trucks to serve the crowd. I gave up waiting after 20 mins.”
“Sealed road all the way to the campsite. Stunning place to relax along the Mohaka River. We stayed one night and woke up to amazing birdsong in the morning. The sound of water at night is peaceful too. Would definitely recommend if you're wanting a place to stay between Napier and Taupo.”
“Great venue with fabulous stage. Dressing rooms and make up rooms are very good.”
“Had a pleasant afternoon with family & friends at the miniature Railway in Keirunga Gardens. Long weekend so food & drinks were available to buy. To ride the trains is $2 or can buy 12 ride ticket for $15. Nice picnic area.”
