“Wow !! What a wonderful surprise today when we randomly selected Vino Vino for lunch on our day trip to Waiheke. Our random choice was due to the incredible views. From the start to the end the service, meal and attention was first class. We have been fortunate enough to eat at some incredible restaurants throughout the World and would have to rate this establishment right up there. “I absolutely love coming here! The staff are always welcoming and friendly, and they make you feel like a valued regular even if it’s your first visit. everything I’ve tried so far has been delicious and really fresh. The pearls are perfectly chewy, and I especially recommend the brown sugar milk tea if you want something a little naughty. The shop is also clean and cozy, making it a nice spot to chill with friends. So glad to have this gem in the neighborhood. Highly recommend!”

“Came in here with my daughter today at a very busy period. Luvia made us bubble teas. Three different ones and all of them were so amazing. We have coming here as regulars pretty much every week once or twice for the last 2-3 years but today’s bubble teas were one of the best one we have had. Amazing job Luvia!!”

“LOVE this place!! Food is always so freshly made and great flavours. Definitely takes me back to Thailand! If you’re a fan of fresh seafood, then you need to try the raw prawn salad. Love their curry puffs and money bags, super crunchy and comes with a really good sauce. Their sizzling plate is also amazing with some coconut rice. Service here is always so friendly, totally recommend!”

“I love this place!!! It may be on a main road but the atmosphere inside the courtyard walls is beautiful…. a feel of Italy. We were greeted warmly and found a lovely seat in the sun where we thoroughly enjoyed the coffee and delicious food brought to us. I ordered the beef burger without buns and my son had the fish salad… both were spot on! I can’t wait to come back on an evening and enjoy the courtyard, with the festoon lights and a glass of wine with another Del meal!”

“My work team had an end-of-year function at this venue. The feedback I have received from the attendees - some 150, loved the venue the way we had the option of both indoor and outdoor seating. Phil was great with the food and the timing of it. People appreciated how he had a table for all of the dietary requirements folk so their food did not get swallowed up with the general population! From the outset Phil made it about our event, what we were looking for, our expectations and he made it all happen and within our budget! I know we will be having regular events at The Birdcage! His staff are friendly and very welcoming. Thank you Phil and Team.”

“I've always loved the cozy atmosphere in Galbraiths with a hand pull ale - makes me feel like I'm back home. Enjoyed a decent fish and chips there the other week too. Other than the beer, maybe the best part is the awesome beer garden. Whilst I saw Galbraiths as a winter pub for years, now it is one of my favourite spots to sit in the garden. Plenty of shade, but also plenty of sun, beautiful plants and a great atmosphere”

The beer selection is fantastic, with something for everyone, including some great craft options. The food is simple but absolutely delightful. The three-cheese toasted sandwiches are an absolute must-try, especially at midnight—they’re to die for! Plus, the option to grab fish and chips from the shop next door and enjoy them outside adds a unique, laid-back charm to the place. Perfect for unwinding with friends or enjoying a great night out. “I've had two great meals here with friends over the last year (which is also how often I've been to Auckland over the last year lol), the Mussels are delicious! This time they had a new dessert on the menu, a Banoffee Pie, and it was stand out good!! 100% will order again if I'm back in Auckland. The staff are fantastic, really attentive and good at what they do, they make you feel like family. And they are so careful with dietary restrictions, we have a few coeliacs in our group and with everything on the menu being available as gluten free, they really enjoyed themselves, and the staff double check about the dietary restrictions to ensure no issues.”
