This isn’t your typical review. I would give a 0 if possible. The pizza was great and the pasta could’ve been better, but my rating is based entirely on how we were treated. Keep in mind that I would like to acknowledge our waitress who was great, but the owner was incredibly rude. With one slice of pizza and a bit of pasta left, I asked for water as he walked past. His response: “Hurry up, we’re closing in 15 minutes, all you do is talk.” This was the first time anyone mentioned the closing time, and the restaurant was far from full—so us talking shouldn’t have been an issue as we would’ve happily paid and left if we had known that us talking after our meal was going to be a problem. When I told him his comment was inappropriate, he said he’s been there 41 years, as if that excused his behaviour. I’ve visited before, but after this experience, I won’t be returning. Longevity doesn’t justify disrespect.

Friday night dinner, small dining area but not busy at all. Food came out relatively quickly. Liver appetizer was cooked perfectly with lovely onions bacon and sherry sauce. Volcano pizza and chicken and mushroom fettuccine, portion size for pasta was decent! Super creamy though but still ate it all. Pizza was large size, but put in whole olive with pit, which is probs only negative. Good crust on Pizza. Would come again

Perfectly good place. Small but nice, service was good. 3 of us had their specials, which isn't on the menu. I had the Penne Blue cheese, didn't taste the blue cheese, and tasted like a normal bacon carbonara. My partner loved the Fegatini spaghetti - it was really good. Our two friends enjoyed their meals as well. Will we go back? Sure... although there's some other italian restaurants we'll try out first.

We’ve been two people tonight and we tried Funghi Pizza, + Calamari and both of them were terrible. We just tried one bite, paid and left. They saw and didn’t care to even ask why the food was left.

Nice penne Arrabbiata. They don’t have wireless payment facility so bring cash or card, not just phone!

Real flavoursome food. I got a house special, volcano pizza. Nothing bad to say about the food it was excellent. The olives caught me (and another customer) off guard though as they came still cooked in the pips so watch out for that! Maybe it gives it more saltiness or something idk but it wasn’t a problem. Only gripe might be the customer service? It wasn’t bad but it wasn’t spectacular either. They seemed a little preoccupied and tired. But it was the end of the day. Honestly I probably caught them on an off day or something. Would be keen to go back and try out the rest of the menu. Tried some of my wife’s Tortellini and it was tasty too. If you want a safe bet I’d recommend the pizza. My one was nice and crisp whilst also having a decent ratio of bread and toppings. Nothing I hate more than getting a pizza with barely any toppings. Try it out!

Pizza just like store bought and heated by themselves. Squid wasn’t fresh. Foods are not Italian style, not at all!

Average Italian style meals, probably need some tips from Italian chefs. Don't get me wrong here the food was nice but not really authentic Italian. Our company was great so it made up for it. Also BYO
