   We stopped here today for a beer, the service was exceptional!!! We were greeted with smiles and attentive staff. Next time we will order a pizza, the chef prepared and made 3 in the courtyard in their pizza oven for another table… they looked delicious. We will be back!!! Thank you.

   Best place to eat in beachlands, I go often and will continue too. Easy change ingredients like no mushrooms in pasta. Owner is awesome very chatty in a good way. Going to get something to eat soon. You pay for what you get, meals are good quality.

   Excellent food, great staff and awesome atmosphere. Burger and chips is great! Try the garlic and cheese bread, the loaded fries are awesome but ask for extra cheese sauce. Awesomeness!!!!Kapai Everyone!!!!

   We had a wonderful experience at The Franklin restaurant for my 50th celebration! It was a great evening, and everyone who attended thoroughly enjoyed themselves. The atmosphere was perfect for such a special occasion. Special mention must go to Jazz, the manager, who was absolutely fantastic. She was incredibly helpful and ensured that everything went smoothly, allowing us to relax and enjoy the evening without any worries. Jazz's attention to detail and warm hospitality were greatly appreciated by all of us. I highly recommend The Franklin restaurant for any special event or gathering. Thank you so much Jazz and the team for a very special celebration, we really appreciate it!

   The Franklin-Taphouse and Kitchen during Mataraki weekend was a groovy experience! We enjoyed loaded fries, herbed garlic ciabatta, Franklin double smash beef burger, Chipotle BBQ pork ribs, beer-battered fries, slaw, and washed it down with refreshing beers and passion fruit martinis. It wasn't crowded, but the food was a flavor explosion. We also had to pay 15% surcharge due to the Mataraki weekend.

   Visiting family in Auckland and The Franklin was on our list. Well worth the country drive out in the sunshine today. We had a warm friendly welcome from staff and great service. The food was generous, beautifully presented and well portioned. Everything looked beautiful but the flavours were incredibly good. If your experience of mussel fritters is of the piklet kind be prepared to be amazed. These were juicy flavour bombs. The chef’s seafood chowder is lifted by a little burst of Pernod which lifts this dish to the sublime and it was packed with morsels and fish on the half shell. Don’t leave without sharing one of the chefs signature desserts. We had the famous cookie dough dumplings with vanilla icecream. You have to try them! Thank you to the staff of The Franklin, we’ll be back!

   Very nicely decorated place. Kind and professional service. Great salads. Nice menu selection. Pizza is delicious, however mine got burned corners and ingredients were all in middle. Definitely good place to eat if you travel around. I will visit again.
