Had come here with a group of friends not very welcoming here and some of the staff were rude.

BEST mojito hands down from Sunny. I'll take another Uber to get another mojito from the legend. Bought 2 was worth it!

This has to be the best local bar in Auckland! The service is exceptional, with amazingly friendly staff who make you feel right at home. The atmosphere is brilliant—lively, welcoming, and full of good vibes, with friendly local patrons adding to the charm. The beer selection is fantastic, with something for everyone, including some great craft options. The food is simple but absolutely delightful. The three-cheese toasted sandwiches are an absolute must-try, especially at midnight—they’re to die for! Plus, the option to grab fish and chips from the shop next door and enjoy them outside adds a unique, laid-back charm to the place. Perfect for unwinding with friends or enjoying a great night out. Highly recommend!

Smallest pint I ever seen and the door in the men’s is missing the inside handle, nearly bust me wee finger nails clawing the door open.

Cheap Publican hasn’t fixed this toilet for 3+ years. It’s disgusting and would only cost $400 or so to fix. But every time it breaks further he just tapes it up. What a tight a@@@. It stinks as well! While we’re at it why don’t you fix that leaking roof out the front so the Punters don’t get wet in the rain. You don’t deserve to own this Iconic pub!

Coolest bar in Herne bay by far. Great service and you can even order fish and chips and enjoy it at the bar while you smash back premium tap beers like Sapporo or peroni. Will be back Sterling Arnet kakapo Business Sales
