Had dinner at Botticelli the first time ever tonight with pretty high expectations and hopes seeing the high ratings and reviews. However, to my disappointment, they can't even make carbonara. It had onions and to boot, the onions were barely cooked. I'm no expert other than I love my food and I know how to make a descent carbonara at home but holy heck, onions? Cue the rage of the Italians nonnas. I queries this and unfortunately the lady who served us didn't even know that it's not supposed to have onions in it. What kind of Italian restaurant is this, new type that I have not encountered before. I asked for another dish, this time it's the tortellini mushroom. It was meh in my opinion. It was under seasoned, the tortellini werr slightly over cooked and some under cooked. I was hungry and running late for our show by this point so I ate it. Now, after all the debacle, still no grovelling or anything just another bum on seat. As a cherry on top, I got bloody charged for both dishes. Heck, I wasn't going to say anything as I know F&B businesses are doing it tough, but this is a bloody joke! To say the least, DO NOT dine here if you like proper Italian food, at least proper carbonara. Please get in touch with me to organize my refund of the charge for the carbonara as I refuse to pay for that. The receipt is attached for your reference.

A true taste of Italy! Every dish bursts with authentic flavor and care. The salmon scallops pasta is a standout, and the Bella pizza is simply irresistible. Pair it with their excellent selection of wine and beer, and you’ve got the perfect evening. Delicious food, great atmosphere—absolutely worth every cent.

It was my first visit. Had heard good things but that was years ago. Made reservations so no wait. I had the pizza. The topping was okay but the dough was very disappointing. Tasted like the instant bases you get from a supermarket. Basically tasted like your average takeaway pizza. Ordered a drink from the menu for my guest only to be told they hadn’t been able to get that drink in months…yet it’s still on the menu? Tried the calamari, it was okay. Nothing to write home about. The pasta was by all accounts very nice. Overall an okay meal but definitely nothing special. The live music added to the atmosphere and I’m sure many would enjoy it however I found it way too loud and it made ot hard to conduct a conversation.

New Year’s Eve dinner. We made a reservation online, but received no confirmation. On arrival, we were told they were fully booked, but we were seated after about 15 mins. The place was full. It’s relatively small, so it’s like an Italian family restaurant. Given how busy they were, the service was fine. We had starters, mains, dessert and wine throughout. All courses, including the risotto (lots of fresh shellfish and prawns) and pizzas, were great, except I was disappointed with the tiramisu: it was deconstructed, served in a champagne glass, over vanilla ice cream.

This was the 2nd time I tried this restaurant and definitely the last. First time around I ordered vegetarian risotto and after waiting 35 mins, they've brought me chicken risotto. Second time around, I ordered Tiramisu for desert and they brought me what you can see in the photo. Lots of icecream and a smashed texture. They said it got smashed cause it was too soft when they cut the slice. Then don't serve it if you respect yourself! Especially since my friend got a normal square slice. It barely had ladyfingers nor coffee, felt only the icecream taste. Both times they were not apologetic, nor did they offer anything in return. I feel cheated and disappointed.
