   We held a 21st Birthday at the Birdcage and it was a fabulous venue and Phil and his team executed a great 21st for us. Right from when we looked at the venue to the end of the party, it was fantastic. All we needed to do was show up with a cake, spotify playlist and USB of photos. Phil was very accommodating and well organised which took any stress away! With great food and drink options, we came in under budget! Phil acted as MC, there was security provided, tech and large screens, and a fabulous space for partying and dancing. The Birdcage must be the best value and coolest 21st venue in central Auckland! 100% recommend !

   We highly recommend this venue to anyone. They are professional, well organised and a great bunch to work with. They offer free carparking which is important in the centre of town too. We celebrated our daughters 21st at the Birdcage. They did all the decorations and the set up with lights was perfect. From helping us set up music (Spotify), revolving PowerPoint on their two screens, and preparing and sharing the platters with everyone - they were a pleasure to work with. We had the extra juggle of two major birthdays right after each other, so my organisation and energy levels were low at this stage, and they went out of their way to ensure the evening was a great success. The food was amazing and priced really well; the staff were approachable and professional. Security was excellent, everyone felt very safe. In short, nothing was a problem. Thank you, Birdcage, for hosting and catering an important milestone in our whanau.

   My work team had an end-of-year function at this venue. The feedback I have received from the attendees - some 150, loved the venue the way we had the option of both indoor and outdoor seating. Phil was great with the food and the timing of it. People appreciated how he had a table for all of the dietary requirements folk so their food did not get swallowed up with the general population! From the outset Phil made it about our event, what we were looking for, our expectations and he made it all happen and within our budget! I know we will be having regular events at The Birdcage! His staff are friendly and very welcoming. Thank you Phil and Team.

   Wow! I just had the most amazing experience hosting my 50th at The Birdcage! Phil was incredible from the moment I made an inquiry. He emailed me back, I went for a visit and kept in regular contact. On the night they set up my few props, including a red carpet and got me connected to the computer so I could play slideshow of photos. Phil was security on the door until another security person turned up then he was on the floor with his other staff serving the delicious platters I ordered. I used a token system so 2 stickers each for free drinks and then guests paid. Bar staff were efficient and so lovely. Phil kept us up to date with bar tab and timings that I had given him for speeches. I had a musician set up and then kicked in with a DJ. Last call for drinks at 11:15 and bar closed at 11:30 which was great as it took half and hour to say goodbyes. I had about 120 guests and spent until 10pm on the outside courtyard. Then 1 and half hours dancing up a storm inside. Soooo many of my guests have texted or talked to me about the epic venue - inside / outside flow, amazing staff, delicious food and great alround vibe. Phil even initiated a competition (with some bottles of champagne) for the best costumes !!! Honestly, THE best party venue in Auckland!!! If I could give it 10/5 - I would!

   Their daily specials are of great value, especially Thursday (burger) and Friday (fish n chips) specials, $24 + a beer/wine. I love how they have a panfried option for the fish and chips as well. There are tables to accommodate for large groups as well, both inside and outside are a vibe. Service is welcoming and attentive, the place feels well organized!

   We had our daughters 21st at the Bitdcage last weekend. Was a huge success, great venue, platter food was awesome, subsidised bar and the guests thought it was the best 21st ever. Phil and his team were fabulous to work with, nothing was a problem, happy for us to decorate the Birdcage on Sat afternoon and the staff were very accommodating. Would absolutely recommend them for a function and I would not hesitate to have another function here. Thanks so much to the awesome Birdcage team for a great night. Best wishes, Sally Floyd.
