Massive shop. Bit of a different layour than im used too. Takes a while to find things. Got a lot of different things than you’d find in Auckland. Exit was a bit confusing. They could sign that better. But staff were great. Didn’t see all of the place because it’s so huge.
Customer Feedback: I would like to give a big shoutout to Caulton at Mitre 10 for his excellent service. No matter how busy it gets or how many customers are at the paint counter, he always remains friendly, polite, and extremely helpful. It’s always a pleasure being served by someone with such a positive attitude and professionalism.
Use them a lot but can't wait for bunnings to come to Napier to give a bit of competition so prices will reduce. They need a loyalty card system like Tumu used to have to reward regular customers with real discounts. When you compare trade prices to listed price they have plenty of room to improve prices for regular customers.
Great store with excellent product selection, prices, and online ordering. Most staff are helpful, but a couple ignored my questions on my last visit—frustrating! Solid choice overall, just improve consistency.
Very big Mitre 10, the name suggests. The Mitre 10 staff team also never fails to answer questions about their products well.
Almost never get service in the timber section. Need to take photos of skus for sales staff. Timber overpriced and they rip of retail customers compared to trade. Need to get a bunnings locally to get a bit of competition going.
Has to be hands down my favorite shop. Every is so cheap and great quality. If its in my shed can guarantee this mega lads sold it to me lol. Ive also had to return a couple things from time to time and the refund comes in almost straight away! Keep it up team
Plenty of everything, but be alert to pseudo specials. Prices can be deceptive and it pays to shop around. I alsTried to return broken secateurs that were still within warranty. Front counter staff refused to replace them without a receipt (claiming the importer insisted on it). I emailed the importer of Wolf Garten and I received a replacement secateurs next day. The upshot of this is that I will always be a loyal customer of Wolf garten equipment, but I sure as hell won't be buying them at Mitre 10 again.
