Was told by a guy at the self service counter there would be someone at the click and collect counter soon. 20mins later, nothing. Many staff walked past multiple times and no one asked if I was being helped. Not acceptable. Will be seeking a refund and buying from Kmart now
Used to visit the place everyday since i work around the corner, but some warehouse lady growled at me for parking at their parking lot but going to the other shops. Haven’t been back since.
Yesterday as I walked out of the Warehouse Hastings with my one year old grandson in my arms and two boys in hand the security guard came up to me snatched my goods out of my hands and said receipt check and put my goods on the counter with the manager hovering around they both proceeded to go thru the goods, funny thing is I still had the receipt in my hand and holding the rest of the goods we purchased. I said to the security excuse me I didn't like how you snatch the goods out of my hands while holding my grandson and what is the reason why you have stopped me to check my receipt? by the way here's my receipt I have two of them! No eye contact no reply until I questioned the manager... who then replies it wasn't me. I ask again why I have been stopped they started to argue back at me but not giving me any valid reason for the check in. I will be making a complaint today and we won't be spending any more of our money at the HASTINGS WAREHOUSE! YOU CAN ASK TO CHECK PEOPLES RECEIPT WITHOUT BEING ROUGH AND IF YOUR GOING TO STOP A PERSON BEST YOU HAVE A REASON WHY YOU HAVE SO THEY CAN UNDERSTAND WHY THEY HAVE BEEN STOPPED. .. DO BETTER HASTINGS WAREHOUSE DO BETTER!
We all know the warehouse, tons of goodies and food at bargain prices. As such we are accustomed to a bargain looking store. The click and collect at thus one is always unattended, amd used as a junk pile. The staff are nonchalant and in no hurry at all to serve you. In fact, if you click and collect, you are greeted at the collection spot with a sign that says go to counter, who the. Unceremoniously tell you to go back and wait.....and wait... And wait. Click and collect is a no go with this store if you have standards and are on a time crunch... It would have been faster to just go get them myself, instead of waiting by the bloody toilet for ten minutes to have to remind them I'm there and go back again. And....here's the kicker....I am disabled, it's hidden, bit I can't stand for long. Now, I am in pain because of their lax approach. This is not the first time I've informed this warehouse of lax standards and general state of disorganization, poorly stocked shelves, and 'I dunno' attitude from staff.
Hastings today.service desk young lady was polite and helpful andxas dissapointed and disgusted as were by furniture department manager. He was rude and used words " we will not" assist. And refuse to hold item we were prepared to pay for while we arranged transport. 5 stars for service desk assistant. Negative 5 stars for furniture manager. Worst experience every had at this store . Most times staff polite and helpful
a great place to shop but, i dont like the long wait in line as you only see two tellers serving most times ive been there. it be good if they had a self scan and pay it would make a big differenc
Terrible customer service and poor management. One of my favourite stores, tho this one in particular gave me the worst experience i've ever had at any Warehouse. They would not sell me a product due to it being the last one. I would have understood and been okay with how things turned out, but when i returned about 15 minutes later, the person who was dealing with me said that he had sold it to someone else. I wasn't able to get his name because he did not have his badge on which is very unprofessional. When dealing with customers, making things personal and getting emotional is very silly.
Clean, great stock. Well air conditioned. Friendly staff.
Bit rude really, rushed all the way across town because mum needed a chilly bin to receive meals on wheels that started the following day. Hockey training finished after 8:30pm. At 8:52pm the man rudely told me it was closed and I could not run in to grab it. Would have taken 2 minutes. Misleading to say it's open till 9pm. Staff all knocked off and leaving the premises at 8:57pm
I have done a click and collect. However I was charged a Delivery fee of $30 which is odd. Then I went and inquire from Hastings Warehouse. “The lady was like “ I don’t know… it’s charged by online team”, it was not us” It was really rude the way she told that. It was my 1st and last click and collect. Never going to order from them again. Keep up the awesome service… sorry too awesome service
