“We have been searching for some “chipper chips” like back home in Ireland for a long time as we have been away for 7 years, this is the closest we’ve got between here and Australia! The best old school homemade chips, cooked perfectly in clean oil. We loved them so much, we got 3 bags in one day!!”
“Went here for a friends birthday dinner and it exceeded expectations! Fabulous service from Georgia and Molly, and even better food! Drinks were lovely and will definitely be coming back!”
“Delicious food, great for kids or adults. Lots of nice fresh salads. Salsas are really good too. Friendly staff.”
“After check in at the Quality Hotel Elms, we wandered downstairs and asked the front desk about nearby pubs with patios. The ‘concierge’? said, “we have a patio”. I said “I need craft beer that is not Heineken or Budweiser”. The concierge smiled and said “we have that”. I said “show me this goodness”. We sat outside on the Fig Restaurant and Bar patio for a few hours and ran the Monteith's brewery tap list. We were lucky in that this seemed to be the only pub/bar in the area that actually had a patio and we made the most of it. Beer was great. Service was great. I think they also ran the restaurant in the hotel but am not 100% sure so wont comment on the food.”
“My wife and I had been talking about going to Barberra over the last week, only to see a recent Instagram post indicating some changes coming - which motivated us to pop in. The main attraction being the Kokoda (pronounced Ko-kon-da), which is a Fijian version of the Samoan oka / raw fish. We were looking forward to the Beef Rib which featured on an online menu but wasn’t on the in-house menu when we arrived. We thought they seemed short staffed given the number of diners - but to be honest, we didn’t feel we waited very long at all. The frickle (fried pickle) is a bit weird and sweet, but apart from that the rest of our dishes were great - including the kokoda. Only other very minor gripe was the pork belly which wasn’t as tender as we hoped but we still shovelled that down. Would easily return if the opportunity arises.”
“I can’t comment on the atmosphere as I didn’t stay/wait. But the food is brilliant as always. My favourite little spot. Thank you for taking my last minute (8:55pm) phone order (13/10/2025). Really made my night”

“This is one of few takeaways that actually made me feel full after eating. Too often I've found other places aren't quite as nourishing and get hungry soon afterwards. Not here though. I was good for the rest of the evening when I was finished eating. The burgers here are superb. Well worth what you pay for them.”

“I recently visited Adana Grill restaurant at northland malls, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations! The food was absolutely incredible—their kebab wrap was perfectly seasoned, juicy, and cooked to perfection. The freshly baked bread and flavorful dips were the perfect complement. What truly set this place apart, though, was the outstanding customer service. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we had a memorable experience. They were friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu, offering excellent recommendations. The ambiance was warm and inviting, and you could tell this place takes pride in both their food and hospitality. I can’t wait to return and bring friends along. Highly recommended for anyone craving authentic, delicious Turkish cuisine! Kudos to the entire team of Adana Grill! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”
