Fantastic fish and chip shop and no seed oils!!!! Cooked in good old fashioned fat!!! Generous servings and well priced.
Have been coming to your shop for 30 plus years so are a good customer. I ordered 2 fish one battered sausage and half a scoop of chips and you charged me $17.00 it just seams a bit steep. Can you comment please regards local household

We were staying at V Motel (also very good) got F&C for tea. Very nice. The only negative is that we live more than 200km away otherwise we could have it again
We have been searching for some “chipper chips” like back home in Ireland for a long time as we have been away for 7 years, this is the closest we’ve got between here and Australia! The best old school homemade chips, cooked perfectly in clean oil. We loved them so much, we got 3 bags in one day!!
Fish & Chips not cooked long enough. I like brown chips, not warm white potatoes slices.
Terrible, burnt chips and average fish, looks like oil not changed as it should be. How hard is it to keep an eye on food so it doesnt burn and on top still give the chips and smile and say thankyou
Bit hit and miss now I’m afraid. Used to be consistently good ,Sometimes it’s excellent, other times it’s over cooked and too greasy. Flip a coin for quality here.
The BBQ chicken burger is fantastic, in my opinion much nicer than franchise places. Their chips are also great. Whole family loves their food, we have ordered from them many times.
Visitors to Christchurch: Beautiful fresh blue cod ( good size) hotdog , great chicken burger and crinkle chips (huge scoop) very quick and always good to sign seeing lots of locals queue for them too !
