“Great place for food and drinks!! Misceos has an awesome atmosphere and styling. The food is served fast and is always delivered to a high standard. It is best to make a booking for lunch and for larger groups as this is a popular place. There is also a takeaway pizza service. However it can get a little noisy when full”

“As a Singaporean who can hardly take spice (orders wei la mala), the flavours are great (slightly too salty if anything), mild spice level is really mild, but almost making me sweat. Portions are great, one main with rice can feed 1.2 people.”

“They have specials every day of the week. Love that it is supported by mature customers. The food is tasty, have had pizza on 2 occasions and a liver and bacon dish on one. The gravy is devine for meat lovers. Worth returning. The staff are very friendly and wrlcoming.”

“I've been coming to this place for years, since it opened and love it for a quiet sit down. The cheese scones I genuinely rate as the best in New Zealand. Very unique, light and fluffy on the inside with a nice crust on the outside. Huge too.”

“What an awesome local, this was our second visit for a meal. We enjoyed our first visit last time we were in town and this visit was just as good. Great to see the quality experience wasn't a once off. Very friendly staff especially the mascot pup Oden. Service was fast friendly and no problem with my requests for a custom burger. “Absolutely love this place. We have had it +5 times and it never fails! The Pad Thai is so delicious and full of flavour, also has decent veges! The green curry is devine! We love the vegetarian wontons too. There is always a lovely man on the phone when you confirm your online order. Portion sizes are excellent too.”

“Dog here, this is a great little park with good spots for pee mail. There is a few things about but no lights. It is a long thin small park and can get busy there is a small pond too but the ducks do not want to be sniffed. Also something funny happens with the pond as it is only above leg depth on the ducks but I was swimming. Anyway apart from some stuck up ducks it is pretty social and safe down a dead end road and away from sports fields. Lights are not a problem for me I am black and my nose works in the dark. My owner spent about 10 minutes calling a tractor tyre called leo to him. I could not figure out why and eventually tapped him on the back of the leg to say the tyre is not coming. Boy did he jump, but that tyre must have been dead like I get when I see a rabbit, none here tho. Recommend will do again.”

“This is a hidden gem. Tucked away a little, this is a terrific place. Historical and modern all at the same time. Marty was the sensational staff member who made our experience such a great memorable event. It was nice to see some of the Wigram Airfields history being kept for generations to come.”

“We had a lovely lunch at Winnie Bagoes with my work crew yesterday. It was a beautiful day, so we sat outside ... perfect spot to enjoy the sun and people watch. Service was excellent from the moment we arrived. Our server quickly put the umbrella up, took our drink orders, and was back in no time with them. He handled all our pizza questions like a pro — friendly, clear, and efficient. The pizzas were delicious (as always), and everything came out promptly. A relaxed, sunny lunch with great service and great food. Would definitely recommend for a casual group lunch in town.”

“The best Japanese/ Latin American food I’ve ever had. Everything was perfect from the service to drinks and food. Chefs Eiko and Komo cook to perfection. I loved that they came to the table to explain the dish. I don’t eat coriander, they also asked if I was allergic, just to make sure the food was ok for me to eat. I can’t recommend this place enough.”

“Mean place to chill out with some bros, but you're at high risk of an angry mother telling you that you're a threat to children and that you simply MUST leave the premises, because a public park is not suitable for any individuals over the age of 11. The individual who threatened to call the authorities on me knows who they are, and they should know what they did wrong. If they still believe that they were in the right, and can do no wrong, I request that they take a long look in the mirror and think, "How did I turn down such a dark and depressing path?" Great experience overall, 10/10, would argue with that Karen again, loved every second of it.”

“A good bakery has NO food at the end of the day, good food, friendly staff and a real busy bakery. A great place to grab a feed on the run or sit down and relax. Yes this place gets frantically busy, but 4 cashier places helps move you along. But relax and select well or try something knew.”

“This is as good as it gets. Really good Chinese food. Authentic Chinese and kiwi favourites as well. Nice, friendly service. Bathroom has had a major, much needed upgrade. In fact the whole place has been upgraded. We will definitely be back. From the way that the other customers (four different groups, two Chinese, two kiwi) related to the staff, you could tell that they weren't there their first time. It's a good sign when customers come back. We had the curry chicken, cha shao pork (much bigger dish than in the menu photo), Fu Yong egg (omelette thingy) and stir fried veggies. All delicious.”

“Speights went out of their way to make a triple birthday dinner super special for my sons. They allowed us to go in earlier and set up decorations and put the 3 cakes in the chiller. They supplied little plates and napkins for them to be served on after dinner Although there was close to 30 people eating the waitress had it all under control and the meals came to the table quickly and all the meals were delicious, with generous sizes.”

“We stumbled across this place looking for a meal. It didn't disappoint. The food was truly amazing with a delicious green curry and chicken fried rice. To top off the evening we also had a live duo playing music and singing songs we all enjoyed. Great place great service great atmosphere.”

When ever I am in Kaiapoi I am always sure to stop by and buy a tray of sushi. Keep doing what you're doing guys, because what ever you're doing it's working.”
