Dined at Misceo Cafe 2 weeks ago. Due to a group of 10 we were asked to pre-order. No sooner in the door and food is on the table. Not very nice food either. Overcooked fish, tough pork belly, dried up hard pizza and lamb salad that tasted like reheated lamb roast. Very disappointing, they really weren't that busy and the food was expensive for what it was. I won't be going back and I certainly will not be recommending any of my friends to go either.

Went for lunch the other day, the restaurant its self was nice, clean and had a good vibe, also the service was good. But the food itself was horrible, I ordered a pizza which for $25 was a very small serving and the base was so dry and plain that I thought it was a gluten free base. we also ordered a Cesar salad that came to $35 as we added the chicken and it just was not worth that price at all with the chicken and salad itself not seeming very fresh. All in all I was very disappointed with the food.

We have been dining at Misceo for over 30 years and have always considered it a neighbourhood staple. Sadly, today’s visit was one of the most underwhelming we have experienced anywhere in a long time. The service was woeful, particularly from one female staff member who showed zero enthusiasm, initiative or sense of hospitality. We were greeted with a stale welcome, waited far too long to have our drinks order taken, and watched our pizza sit on top of the oven for ten minutes before it was finally brought to the table, despite the restaurant not being overly busy. The food (other than the flatbread) was equally disappointing. The scrambled eggs were dry and oddly textured, served on bone dry bread with no butter or anything to bring it together. The fried chicken was cooked to oblivion and barely edible. To top it off, my Diet Coke finally arrived just as we were getting up to leave, with no apology or even an acknowledgment. At no point were we asked how the meal was. Perhaps that was intentional as they could see we barely touched our food. As loyal patrons of more than three decades, it is incredibly disappointing to say we are unlikely to return. Misceo used to represent friendliness and consistency. Today, it felt like a shadow of what it once was. I was surprised upon arrival to see how dead it was for a Sunday lunch, but now it makes sense. Hopefully someone in the ownership group gets involved soon to get things back on track! Until then, we’ll head elsewhere!

I used to love this restaurant but was very disappointed yesterday. The salad greens were not fresh, the radishes were moldy and the salad bowl was broken. Told the waiter and no response. So, I deleted the previous five-star review, and the third picture is the salad that used to be fresh and delicious.

We enjoyed the famous flatbread but found the service pretty average. The staff spent a lot of time talking to each other and we had to chase them down for an order. No goodbye, either.

This was a lovely find purely by accident. Thanks so much for a lovely brunch and smiling welcome and supurb food

Great staff who were super welcoming and kept popping back to check all was ok and keep the coffee's flowing. Highlights were the meat lovers pizza and pasta. Nice mix of options and very fair pricing by today's standards. Very happy group. Everyone said would visit again.

It is always a pleasure to visit Misceo Cafe & Bar. As soon as you walk into Misceo you instantly smell the amazing pizzas and warmth from the gas fire and friendly staff. The toppings on the Pizza's are amazing and the sauces they use are extra tasty. All of us agree that the Pizza's at Misceo are without a doubt the best we have tasted. The ice cream Sundays look yummy! We will defiantly be back. Kindest regards, the Smiths

Great place for food and drinks!! Misceos has an awesome atmosphere and styling. The food is served fast and is always delivered to a high standard. It is best to make a booking for lunch and for larger groups as this is a popular place. There is also a takeaway pizza service. However it can get a little noisy when full
