   Went to see a band on a Thursday night.. got some Pizza's and beers while watching. Great atmosphere and food. Really enjoyed ourselves. A++ (great band - Bandit Queen)

   Went here on first table and it was a wonderful experience! The food was amazing and super delicious - we got the spicy chicken wings, satay chicken skewers and the garlic loaf for entrees. The spicy chicken wings were super fresh crunchy with tender chicken and amazing flavour. The satay skewers were loaded with satay sauce (with perfectly cooked chunky peanuts) on top of a nice fresh salad with salad dressing. (I really loved this one) The garlic loaf was super soft with a crunchy outside and lots of flavour and came withsome type of pesto sauce. For dinner we had the meatlovers pizza and chicken pad thai - both were delicious and very fresh. Atmosphere was great with plenty of variety of seating. There was a lovely bar and plenty of pool tables to play on. The service was amazing - our waitress was very polite and made sure everything was good with the food and drinks Would definitely come here again for the great food, vibes and atmosphere.

   So good we thanked the chef personally! Do not sleep on this place it’s insanely good!! Everything was a 10/10 for all four of us. One diner saying it’s the best meal out they have ever had. Entree was prawn Rangoon, coconut prawns, blue cod bites, and spicy chicken wings. Mains were the pad see yu, beef cheek curry, lamb shank massamam and sweet and sour chicken. Big portions and you could taste love on the plate. Will be back and will happily pay full price for every dish.

   We stumbled across this place looking for a meal. It didn't disappoint. The food was truly amazing with a delicious green curry and chicken fried rice. To top off the evening we also had a live duo playing music and singing songs we all enjoyed. Great place great service great atmosphere.

   Absolutely loved it. Food was great, service was wonderful and energetic. We didn't know what we wanted to drink and the guy at the bar was really excited to make us some custom drinks. Drinks were amazing. Service was quick and the atmosphere is great

   Had the worst experience because of an a**hole bar tender working late Saturday night I politely asked if he could come closer as the music was loud as he couldn’t hear me. he just started aggressively yelling at me. He’s lucky I didn’t throw my drink at him.

   Really great place which is often overshadowed by the Rockpool downstairs. The grub is absolutely divine and the service was exceptional. For good hearty homely tucker you'll truly leave satisfied. If you love your cue sports, you'll also be in heaven.

   Decided to walk up the stairs and check out this place as Rockpool didn't answer their phone and when we attended they were booked out. ...and happy about that. The Micky Finn's staff were really nice, offered any table to choose from and were quick to seat us. A minute or so to check the menu, then drink orders taken, meal orders taken as drinks delivered to table. Great chit chat with staff and spoke about the restaurant being new. Then the food came out.. I ordered the Beef Cheek Curry and it has been the most flavoursome meal in the week we have been in Christchurch. Wife had the Pad Thai and ordered the Pork Belly as well. Servings where great value vs cost. (My Beef Cheeks are in a bowl, so actually larger than the picture shows) Son was delighted with his Pizza.
