   Location is convenient. There are a lot drink options but food menu is relative limited. When I arrived yesterday (Friday) evening, there are still many tables available. We took Table 9 near the window. The waiter seems are a new hand. He walked to us and did not introduce menu but just stand there and wait for us to order. When I asked him is any special today, he simply replied no special. Not sure but hope he feels happy and fine with his job.

   Good cocktails and lovely Sunday roast! The tall table in the bar section is slightly uncomfortable to sit around and the table in the restaurant area can get a bit cramped when the place is full! I had Sunday roast for my dinner while my husband had a pizza which was quite dry and bland. The staff was okay but seem stressed when the place was busy for dinner time.

   They have specials every day of the week. Love that it is supported by mature customers. The food is tasty, have had pizza on 2 occasions and a liver and bacon dish on one. The gravy is devine for meat lovers. Worth returning. The staff are very friendly and wrlcoming.

   First time visitors with two locals and regulars and we enjoyed dinner on a Thursday night. Have to give a big shout to this establishment for their great menu and genuine nourishing and plentiful food. I had the fish burger and the crispy batter was just that and my wife had the lambs fry. This can be a difficult dish however she was raving about it and hope the chefs read this. It was so tender she said it melted in her mouth and it was a decent amount too. The service was efficient and friendly so we thoroughly recommend this place as somewhere to try if you haven’t. There is a curry on the menu, pizza and a range of entrees. A brilliant first up visit and thank you all.

   Pub lunches are usually a good feed for reasonable money. Not gourmet, but sound. Fish & chips here are what you would expect. No complaints. HOWEVER The “ steak sandwich” they serve is actually a Philly cheese steak in a hotdog bun. Look it up, only the Americans can call this food. It was the most disgusting looking greasy thing I have ever seen - ruins it for both the steak as well as the cheese. I took one look and left it untouched. Cost me $27 to learn to ask first. Be careful when you order.

   Great food. Sunday roast for $15 was tasty and great size. Drinks weren't served to each person and expected to pass down table. Wasn't busy and could move down side of table so seemed lazy. Had to ask for order to be taken as waited so long. First time service not so good. Would have been 5/5 if service was better. Clean toilets. Bar and know there are quiz nights and wine tastings.
