I came here about eight years ago — the food still tastes just as good! However, the service felt a bit different this time. There was no table check, and I had to wait quite a while to pay even though the restaurant was nearly empty. Not trying to be harsh, but a little more attention to service would make the experience much better.
For a few weeks this has been my go to restaurant for solo dining when I'm in need of some good food and quiet. I enjoy spice, and the Thai hot option is a good balance of spicy but not excessive. The Chicken Pad Peanut sauce was incredible, and a good portion size. The Pad Thai and other noodle dishes are also great. I wish the rice portion was a little bigger, as I felt like I was rationing how much I was using with the main at times. Otherwise, friendly service, a nice relaxed atmosphere and good food.
Just received my meal via Uber Eats. Wow, best satay I've ever had!! Delicious, thick, flavoursome sauce with the perfect amount of chicken and veges. Will definitely be back. Thank you!!
As a Singaporean who can hardly take spice (orders wei la mala), the flavours are great (slightly too salty if anything), mild spice level is really mild, but almost making me sweat. Portions are great, one main with rice can feed 1.2 people.
The food was amazing. Great service too. Also was great that there was a free shuttle arrangement between the motel we stayed and the restaurant: they picked us up and dropped us back at the motel. Very very friendly people. Would definitely go back and would recommend.
I went here with my daughters a few weeks ago. My daughters ordered MILD meals but they were HOT!!! They couldnt eat most of their meals. Told the waitress , who offered new meals, but we were in a hurry and couldn't wait that long. Went again last night. I ordered a seafood meal. It was nice but had hardly any seafood. The menu said it had scallops but I had none. I asked the waitress and they said they ran out. After speaking to the grumpy manager, she said she'd give me discount. $2. Not going there again.
Emmmm… People work there are very nice, the food is so-so. Sorry to say that, lots of Thai restaurant just in Christchurch that I can think of will be better than this.
Absolutely stunning place to have an awesome meal. The staff were friendly and efficient and the food was amazing! Definitely recommend
Excellent value for money. The taste is great. The restaurant has a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere. Background noise is not a problem, it is a good place for group discussion. Very friendly service. The option to bring your own drinks is also great!
