    My partner went here this afternoon. She bought us two salmon double avocado sushi to take out. As is often the case with this place it had to be made while she waited which is fine, freshly made is fresh tasting right? Wrong!. Dry rice, chewy seaweed quite possibly the worst sushi iv had. Sub par ingredients seem to be a problem of late here going by previous reviews. Il be going to Rangiora from now on.

    This used to be the go to for Sushi. Stopped by yesterday, the rice tray was average but the rice ball had no mayo and was dry and tasteless. Shame we used to love this place

    I arrived on a Saturday at opening and they had a few items on display. I asked if they had any of the varieties not displayed and the very charming woman made them all fresh for me right there. Three large boxes with no problem and a happy smile. The sushi was delicious and I can’t praise the shop assistant enough for how pleasant she was dealing with my request so early in the morning. Definitely recommend *****

    very good sushi except for the fact that their chicken on rice have barely anything in them compared to other sushi restaurants that a packed to the top, they use to be good but getting less and less

    No idea what the 1 star reviews like CHLOE are talking about. this is the best sushi I have had of all time. Perfect amount of sauce, and mayo. chicken and rice ratio is made to perfection. When ever I am in Kaiapoi I am always sure to stop by and buy a tray of sushi. Keep doing what you're doing guys, because what ever you're doing it's working.

    I only heard bad things about their food, so I had to try it out myself and it was very dry and barely any flavour. The owner and staff are beyond rude when trying to order something. It felt like I was eating something that had been made a few days ago. There is another Sushi place in Kaiapoi only a 2 min drive away, I recommend anyone going there instead.

    I got a pre made teriyaki chicken plate and my wife ordered a vegetarian roll. Both meals had very chewy rice and seaweed that was rolled around my wife's vege roll was dry and inedible. Very disappointing.
