“May 2023 Back again fow a few items in between our regular shop. The store very clean and tidy as usual. Jan 2023 A quick visit was carried out today. Shop is still very clean and tidy. Shelves are well stocked and presented. The self service checkouts are very easy to operate and can make shopping less time consuming. Earlier visit Easy store to shop in. Products are well laid out and there is always a store staff member close by who will off assistance if required.”

“My favourite supermarket, I go here multiple times a week and have been doing this for around 5 years. Relatively small store with a tonne of selection. All the staff are incredible and they are always polite, helpful, and keep shelves stocked. Beats any supermarket in west Auckland radius by a long shot.”

“This place is awesome and you can’t cut it any other way. They were out of hot meat pies when we arrived but they did have a meat pie in their cold case that they could heat up so what’s the difference? It was tasty! The desserts were incredible and the sandwiches were lovely as well. They also had lots of different groceries so we picked up different snacks and beverages. They even had nag champa! We ate our sandwiches on a little table overlooking the beach. This place is a gem and it was open super early in spring around August-September.”

Bakery items are basic, but they do the job — plenty of white bread, buns, and rolls to choose from. Staff are usually helpful if you ask, though it’s more of a self-service environment overall. Don’t expect warm greetings or chit-chat, but they’ll help you out if you need something. Checkout lines can get long during peak hours, but they usually move at a steady pace. There are self-checkouts, but the layout around them can get a bit cramped when it’s busy. The carpark is fairly big, but not the easiest to navigate. “Exceptional Service! One staff member truly stood out during my visit last week — I believe his name is Willis. I first noticed him as I entered through the ramp entrance; he passed by with a friendly smile and picked up every bit of litter along the way. Throughout my shopping trip, which lasted over an hour, I kept seeing him actively working — always on the move, always attentive. His dedication and strong work ethic were so impressive that I asked another team member for his name and role. Later, I saw him again, clearing boxes and picking up items that had fallen from shelves. And then again as I was checking out he was their assisting customers. I took a moment to compliment him on his incredible effort and mentioned how I’d noticed he hadn’t stopped working since I arrived. He responded with a polite smile and genuine appreciation. Willis, keep up the fantastic work — it doesn’t go unnoticed!”

“One of the biggest supermarket in Papakura. It’s surrounded by various shops and restaurants. Always good to visit. The inside looks very fresh, clean and tidy. The layout is nice. You will find everything you need. Ample variety of fresh fruit and juice. The online shopping pickup area is great. The staff are generous and courteous. There is ample parking available. The entrance is from mIn great south road and the opposite road.”

“I honestly don’t feel like going to McDonald’s or KFC anymore! You can get 12 chicken nuggets for just $5, and they’re big, fluffy, and freshly fried! Where else in Westfield can you find such great value and service like this? Despite the rumours, the prices here aren’t high at all...in fact, considering the quality of the products, I think they’re actually very reasonable. Every staff member I’ve met has been genuinely kind and thoughtful. Above all, I’d definitely recommend ordering from Taihei rather than the neighbouring supermarket’s hot meals. It’s actually better than many nearby restaurants!”
