   Tai Peng Supermarket in New Lynn is fantastic! Great selection of fresh produce, Asian groceries, and specialty items you can’t find anywhere else.    We have been your customer since your shop was set up years ago… today we went to your shop to buy some bbq takeaway & there was a special deal posted on the bbq glass so we asked the older guy standing behind the stall whats the deal… He replied in Cantonese using some vulgar words relating to the special deal… just to stress this isn’t the first time he did that. Is this how you treat your customer? We will leave it to your discretion as to how you want to deal with this person.

   Please ensure that there are personnel to replenish the number of trolleys at your doorstep. Otherwise, when customers have sufficient excuses to borrow a shopping basket, they should not unreasonably refuse. Today, I had a very bad experience at the checkout counter, I couldn't find trolleys at your doorstep. I was pregnant with a big belly and took a child just over a year old to the supermarket to borrow a basket that could be pulled to the car park but was mercilessly rejected, The cashier refused very rude then didn't say anything more to me. I held my pregnant belly and carried the box, and my 1.5 year old baby walked out on her own in the dangerous parking lot

   A wide range of fruit and veges, along with meat and groceries. Add to that some hardware, kitchen tools and dishes etc. One of their competitors were selling dragon fruit for $16.99, while Tai Ping were selling theirs for $6.99. Yes, I bought one. A red one. So healthy and good for my heart.

   One fun fact for these Taiping Asian supermarkets is that they treat Asian customers super rude but very polite and friendly to white faces. Shame on you! The staff ignore me and the old lady in front of me. Quick checkout no eye contact even. But a super warm hi to the kiwi lady right after me…. I asked the staff why there is no hi for me and the other lady?unfortunately, I wasn’t able to get an answer from her.

   An impressive Asian super market with its own parking area . Their shelves are well stocked with product's im not even familiar with. Biscuits snacks of a large variety of flavors. They have a meat area lots frozen food Also they have a cooked take away where you can order and pay at the front counter. I always find something new to try and buy .
