My favourite supermarket, I go here multiple times a week and have been doing this for around 5 years. Relatively small store with a tonne of selection. All the staff are incredible and they are always polite, helpful, and keep shelves stocked. Beats any supermarket in west Auckland radius by a long shot.
Would like it if they can have the ploughman sourdough bread as i hate always going to the new lynn branch just to buy it. As i cant eat any other bread
One of the staff called security and had me followed when I clearly donβt fit the profile of a thief as l always pay and am polite.This kind of vindictive behaviour by staff could put there fellow staff in danger if they continue to treat innocent people like criminals.
I visited this store this morning hoping to buy a banana cake. When I asked a staff member where it was, her response came across as hesitant and lacking energy. She seemed disengaged and not fully present at work. When I asked her to speak louder, she simply repeated herself without making any effort to be clearer, which left me feeling ignored. Eventually, I gave up and walked away. Looking around, I noticed other staff appeared equally unhappy, which sadly reflects the overall atmosphere of the store. The store itself also looks tired, uninviting, and in need of better upkeep. Cleanliness is another area that clearly needs attention, as it does not match the standards customers expect. Out of all the Countdowns/Woolworths Iβve visited, this is by far the saddest one. Both staff attitude and store presentation need urgent improvement, and staff would benefit from proper evaluation and training in customer service.

Always check your receipts! Had numerous times where the display price on the item does not match the receipt price usually due to incorrect pricing from staff not taking previous specials down. You are entitled to a refund and get to keep the item in this case however it can be a nuisance going through the process! Good range of items.
Great store, met a guy called Josh pushing trolleys, he has a great work ethic and a genuine guy. He told me about his dreams of being a professional trolley boy in future.
Great for a full shop or quick pop in. The shelves are frequently restocked, however popular items like eggs and sale items are often out of stock. The American section sells out quickly. Best time to shop is before 10am when the shelves are best stocked. Only downfall is there are consistently people begging for money outside the underground and main entrance to the mall. It makes for an uncomfortable entrance and exit as they often shout to customers.
Most of the staff here are lovely and take their time to get to know their regulars. Some of the supervisors however can be rude, and need to be updated with some of their policies. The store itself is always tidy and produce is usually fresh. The online team are very good with how they pick their products and substitutions. This store almost always has everything I need in stock with a great selection of products.
