“Impressive variety of quality vegetables and succulent chicken. The sauces were beautiful and the spice ranges were finally hot enough! Thai “medium” is what many western people will call too hot… but it’s not! If you don’t like spice order mild - for me, I ordered the hottest curry I could and it was incredible!! The sharp chilli spice cutting through the creamy coconut sauce with rich umami undertones… heaven. The Pad Thai lacked that sexy wok hei smokiness, and I prefer a wider flatter noodle, otherwise fantastic.”

“So I was invited to do a collab on a collab between Gen Z influencers @wezgudinc (on IG and YT go follow and subscribe) and Flaming Onion Browns Bay. They are reviewing the best cheeseburger in town. The branch in Birkenhead is phenomenal cos I have had food from there during lockdown and it’s still memorable! So we rock up to the Browns Bay branch and let me tell you they do not disappoint! Sham was on duty that day and he made a platter of delectable food! The cheeseburger was spot on! And the loaded fries were enthused by the pulled pork on top. The fries were perfectly crispy on the outside and mushy on the inside! Totally worth the visit and cost. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️”

“This place is a gem. We ordered share plates (edamame, chicken katsu, tempura veges and okinomiyaki) followed by Japanese ice cream. All were prepared very nicely and were delicious. Service was efficient and friendly even though the hard working staff were quite busy. The whole place reminded us of small restaurants in Japan. We wish there was somewhere similar near where we live.”

“On Christmas 2023, my brother and sister-in-law gifted me and my husband a gift voucher to Parnell 149 high tea with bubbles. Was amazed by the food quality - they were delicious! The service was great from the 2 host and the manager Jazz. The restaurant was well presented, clean including the bathroom. Please keep up the good work.”

“The braised green bean and egg plant was different from pic (no onions, no pepper, and the color) So we asked about it. A staff said, it couldn’t be the same as pic. and plz try it and if you still don’t like it, I’ll change it for you. So we tried and asked another menu. “Hard to find places that are this good! I rarely crave certain dishes or restaurants, and I’ve come here about 5 times, mostly for the Olympus platter shown in the photos. I’ve also gotten the platter with the chicken and a lamb wrap. Everything is so extremely delicious, and amazing value for money as the portions are extremely generous. Truly so rare. I am also not one usually impressed with salads, so the fact that every salad I’ve had from here is addicting is saying something. The lamb and chicken are both super succulent and fall apart, the sides are great, so fresh and flavourful, and everything is amazing value for money, very rare for the quality of food. The second time we went they had warmed up the flatbread which made a massive difference. The dips are flavourful and fresh, tahini dressing on the cauliflower salad is delicious, the chunk of crispy halloumi is so good. The complimentary hot tea is also such a nice addition that I haven’t seen many places. Very high quality of food, service, and bang for your buck. Will keep coming back here are trying more things for sure, but the Olympus will always be a crowd pleaser.”

“Excellent service and the steak was fantastic. The ONLY complaints are the garlic loaf which is actually a 1/3 of a baguette at $10 (rip off) and the jacket potato which is about the size of a tennis ball at $9:50 (ridiculous)”

“First time here and came after seeing the reviews. It absolutely didn't disappoint. Went for the seafood tartare to start which was really beautifully flavoured with hints of corriander and so fresh. Then went for one of the Wagyu scotch options. Had it medium rare upon recommendation from our lovely waitress. It was possibly one of the most beautifully flavoured tender pieces of steak ever. Both of us went for the same steak. If I come again I'll probably go for a few more side orders, went for the creamed spinach which was lovely. Will definitely return! Highly recommend and I am very fussy!”

“Wow. Been here twice, once for a kebab, another time for lamb on chips. The lamb is insanely good, I've never had lamb this good at a kebab place. It's so meaty,juicy, tender, and soft... I need to know how they do it lol. Delicious”

“This place here for henderson is a really good spot for açai good prices 13 dollars for the largest sized mixed açai with the sauce included too good quality and nice if your around here its good to stop off worth it”

“A nice little takeaway serving freshly cooked Indian food and snacks. The menu items are limited which makes the choice of items very easy. The food is kept in heated display units which makes it easier to order and choose from. Taste is nice and balanced in terms of spices. The staff are nice and helpful too. Prices are reasonable and genuine. A couple of seating stools are inside the takeaway for a quick bite. Very nice experience overall.”

“Food was scrumptious cocktail was great. Decor of the place was soooo cooooooolllll. Service was decent, not really above and beyond but it is what service should be. Efficient and not intrusive.
