Big fan of this place! The team are always so kind, the pricing is great and the food is brilliant! The store itself is clean and cosy and reminds me a bit of actually being in India! Love these guys and absolutely recommend!
I absolutely love Bombay Kitchen’s food. I first heard about them through a family referral—they told me about their clean, professionally organised kitchen, and I’m so glad I listened. Whenever I feel like enjoying a neat, homely meal with authentic Indian flavour, Bombay Kitchen is always my first choice. The taste is consistently delicious, and their delivery service is prompt and reliable. For my housewarming, I chose Bombay Kitchen for catering, and they truly delivered beyond expectations. They prepared a wonderful spread with starters and main dishes, all tailored to my requested menu and budget. The prices were affordable, the food was outstanding, and the presentation was beautiful. Their customer service is warm and professional, making the whole experience even better. I genuinely appreciate both their food and their service. I had an unforgettable experience at Bombay Kitchen in Auckland! I tried the Masala Chicken and Naan, and both were absolutely amazing—rich, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The spices were spot on, and the naan was fresh, soft, and delicious. But what made this visit truly special was the atmosphere. I sang a Hindi song for the kitchen staff, and they joined in! We all sang together and had such a great time—it felt like a real celebration of food, culture, and connection. Not only does Bombay Kitchen serve incredible Indian food, but they also have the kindest and most welcoming staff. If you’re looking for a place with amazing food and even better vibes, this is it! Highly recommended!
Such a pathetic place. Due to sudden unplanned power outage, we decided to visit some restaurant for lunch, and after finding some better reviews, reached this place. Paid 60$+ for 3 naan, 2 curries and one small non veg platter. Almost every other nice restaurant would cost similar for the mentioned food but the service, quality etc sucks here. I mean the food was not presentable, I believe I never had such a worse food experience throughout my life, such restaurants should be closed, they are a curse to food. Chicken or Lamb Samosa had 80%potato, goat/lamb curry had taste of every spices in a very non uniform way, rice was not of a good quality and many more. Would never recommend to any one. 0 Stars.
Have not been here in years quality and quantity is still the same if your after a reasonable priced feed for 2 then look no further Bombay is where it’s at got the dinner for 2 today which consists of 2 curries of your choice with rice and a can of your choice of drink (extra $2 if you want to upgrade to a 1.5litre drink as it is just 1x can you get) total cost excluding the upgrade to the 1.5 litre was $19.50 added 2 garlic naans as well which was $3.50 each Seating area nice and clean so you can decide to dine in if you like Garlic Naan size was very big and the taste of it definitely fits well with the taste of their butter chicken sauce The butter chicken was delish too it is quite sweet with a lot of chicken even though it was the small sized container it filled me up right away great service today from the guy who was working I was served right away once in and garlic naan didn’t take long to make
First time here. Forgot to take pictures as I had started eating before I could snap a few pics. Butter chicken very good, garlic Naan bread is next level. Thank you will visit again
Really good food and friendly staff. Kids and partner really enjoyed the butter chicken. Loved the spicy chutney they gave us to try as well. Would recommend
So addicted to the Chicken Tikka Masala curry. The flavour is delicious and authentic, only complaint would be that it's too oily. That's OK, people probably like it like that, but I wait till the oil seeps to the top and soak it up with a clean tissue or paper towel
The worst Goat curry(mutton)I’ve ever had in Auckland. The goat was not cooked properly and couldn’t even chew it. Uncooked and old meat. Had to throw away the whole thing. A bit too much food colour in it. Not sure about other items but don’t get ANY Goat items from here. Never going back again.
